Not really.

when we asked for employment verification letter, the company told us to use the system they were using for this verification. In our case it was something like workverify or something can’t remember. The company should know if they have any method to verify the employment status.

@Naes thank you.. I found where I need to request for it using the website of his company. :)

I’m very worried because some other people doing process via Seoul embassy updated their timeline that their case left nvc much much earlier than us. And our case received by nvc earlier than them (may 3) but still at nvc!

i wonder if this would take longer.... I want to cry 😭

Did you call them? What they say?

Hi everyone! I want to ask all of you that do we need single status certificates in interviews or not? Thank

I believe that depends on the country.

I have read recently on two different websites where one says original and sign documents plus 1 copy and the other no original signatures are not needed. So.I'm reserving my opinion. Keep researching and go with what you works for you. Also I'd try and get in touch with your Embassy and see what they require.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/interview/interview-prepare/required-documents.html

Togo embassy didn't give any specification but on the general information on the website: when you click on how to process a fiance visa it'll open a general information page for you and there you can read that it need to be wet signature and they also said that the CO is going to pass his or her finger through to check that.  see that's one thing that make it difficult on Togo side so specific information only general even though  we know that it can be different depending on the embassy and country. but at the same time, they're waiting for you to do a mistake to denied you. i'm serious

Hey guys, i really appreciate your help with answering a few questions for the ds160

1) on the page US point of contact info, it asks for relationship to you and in the given choices there is no choice for fiance but rather "US petitioner" and "other"

I wouls select US petitioner?????

2)Question in family: Do you have any immediate relatives in the USA, not including.

I answered yes to that since i am his fiance..i know this is stupid to ask but i don't want to make a mistake lol

3)Has anyone ever filed for an immigration petition on your behalf....

So i am a little confused, because i filed a petition for him for fiance visa last year but we were denied..and then refiled. Do i answer yes or no??

4)Have you made specific travel plans to the USA?

How did most of you answer this? I said yes, and wrote an estimated date of arrival and port of entry.

I really really appreciate your help!!!!!!

this is the first time i'm going through this process but on the question 3 i answer yes and it asked me to explain and i explain saying my fiance filed a fiance K1 visa petition on my behalf and i added the date.

am i wrong? please help

To apply for a fiancée visa, follow the steps on the Fiancé(e) Visa Process on usvisas.state.gov.

Where does it say on that link that wet signatures are needed on all documents and where does it say that the CO will pass their finger over the signature to ensure that it is not a photocopy?

i read it the part where it gives instruction on the I-134. i'll look back and send you my previous screenshots of it. unless there is a new update on that, both my fiancee and i have read that last October when we were preparing for this process and that's the reason i have my I-134 with wet signature. SEE even in march 2018 i tag the subjet on VJ forum and it says it required wet that's the reason i'm saying unless it's a late change and update in the process
