Normally they ask those extra info when giving you the case number. Did they give you a case number? If not I believe they are trying to get it ready. Even though it recently takes way less time, it used to take a lot more time for electronic cases to get numbers, so don’t worry about it too much (although I do feel you)

they probably need a case number  to add your email. Or because your case is currently being worked on, they can’t add or overwrite any info at this moment.

Thank you very much,Naes!!! I want to hope that in next few days something will happen. They did not assign any case# yet though. Anyway surprised how some people just get an email from NVC,without NVC knowing their email.

1) You give Bean your WAC# "WAC0123456890"

Bean punches in "WAC01234567899"

(Ooooooo, that one has been assigned NVC#!!!!Must ask Andrey her details!!!)

Bean:"What is your name and DOB, ma'am?"

You:"Andrey Sick and Tired. DOB: May 16th, 1985"

Bean confused as the names don't match looks at WAC he input. (Awww poop, wrong application number): "Sorry ma'am, your case number has not been assigned yet. Please know it may take up to yada, yada"

2) Thinking Gus may be thinking about when the bene fills out the DS160 and gives email?

Everything is incorrect, including sex lol. Andrey is a male name.:D But it was a nice try to fill some space here :))

Only petitioner gets that email if beneficiary did not contact with NVC. Cause petitioners address is written there.

In my case it said transit so I checked fiance (petitioner’s)’s email and I just forwarded to myself.

@K1visaHopeful as my fiancé is too chill to I keep both our accounts on my phone... “hey baby you’ve got a mail”

So, Gus just did not see it yet than? I'm a petitioner. You said it it written there? But I thought he didn't have my email? Just confused.

We were just talking about this the other night on here.

Apparently USCIS has changed their policy on original wet signatures.

Check out the VJ thread link in the first quote.

You will find a link in the last post regarding it.

(It will lead you to a PDF. Sorry I don't know how to share here).

It has. What a great help. I knew that I saw that somewhere but could find the topic. Thanks for sharing.

he might have easily thought you were the beneficiary. When I called the first name they asked was beneficiary and they didn’t ask for petitioners birthdate they only asked for beneficiary’s birthdate

Probably he does.

i just wrote what happened to me, and they didn’t ask me if I’m the beneficiary or petitioner, they just asked in this order and didn’t say what’s your name to me either:

beneficiary’s name

beneficiary’s birthdate

petitioner’s name

You can try again just to confirm (my last date I believe I ended up calling 10 times as they panicked me midday by telling me it was not received after telling me t was received in the morning...so I did what any person who went coucou in this process would do... I called again :D

@Greenbaum my fiancee's company won't issue him a "Certificate of Employment" he called the verification department today and they told him that it is against the company and the state law. so the company stops issuing "Certificate of Employment" but they told him that the pay stabs will be sufficient evidence... what should we do about this matter?  :(

Do they have electronic verification system?

-we also don’t have employment letter due to same reason. I’m taking paystubs up to date, w2s and tax returns - not sure if it’s ok but this is all I could do.

but they had e-verify system, so I have a cover letter with the passcodes for that system.

Not really.

when we asked for employment verification letter, the company told us to use the system they were using for this verification. In our case it was something like workverify or something can’t remember. The company should know if they have any method to verify the employment status.
