I know how you feel! My case was originally there May 9th then transferred to electronic on the 11th, hoping to hear something today but I don’t actually have my hopes up

How long does it usually take to get an email after NVC assigns a number ?

Hi everyone. I just wanted to share my medical examination experience (Philippines). 

 

Submitted requirements:

4 copies of 2x2 photo (write your full name at the back)

1 copy of appointment letter 

1 copy of confirmation letter

1 photocopy of passport (bio page)

1 copy nvc case screenshot

** I don’t have the eligibility letter since our case status still says “AT NVC”

 

I arrived around 5:30AM at SLEC and there’s someone who asked me to fall in line going to the entrance. From there, SLEC personnel get all my requirements and they gave me a number. They asked to proceed on the reception area inside the building (ground floor) wherein I had my biometrics and they asked me some basic questions about myself. Note, wait for your number to be called. Then, the personnel asked to proceed at 5th floor for payment.

 

My next step: the cashier told me to go at 4th floor for blood extraction and urine. After that, they instructed me to proceed at 3rd floor for xray, 2nd floor for immunization interview and 5th floor for physical examination.

 

After the physical exam, the doctor made an endorsement for psychological examination wherein I have to pay for another 2,000PHP and they gave me a schedule. (May 31)

 

Hopefully everything will be fine upon my return for the additional test. Goodluck to us guys!

Update:

Noa1 received: 9/15 submit: 9/18

Noa2: 4/4 on paper 4/5 online

NVC received: 4/25

Case number: 4/26

In transit: 5/2 (mail notification)

Ready:5/7 (however it actually is 1 business day because japan has a holiday between 5/3-5/7

Medical: 5/15    Results:5/18

Packet3: 5/15 (This was not regular! Do not risk like I did - Embassy in Tokyo prefers some files (may slightly change depending on the country of origin) to be sent before the interview - We ended up asking them because of the interview date being so close...hope they won’t scold me on the interview for it...)

Interview: 5/21 (changed from 6/11 which changed from 7/9 - if I tried to reschedule due to packet3 not coming on time I would have paid the MRV fees again.)

 

Now I go back to scanning months up to date, and translating all the new documents...

 

My status chaged to “ready” on 9th and I got packet3 today.

Thanks I got it today, but a little irregularly (by email).

 

I dont know why mine took longer for them to even send it send it to me (as of today it still wasn’t send) As mine turned ready by 5/7

i don't understand why did you pay 2k,and why do you have to come back on may 31 for physical exam.It is the very first time i heard this process.everybody i know have their results day 2(consecutive).

So as im gathering my documents my employer wont release my letter of employment until i show them something from either the USCIS or IRS stating that i need to show the company that they need that employment letter for the affidavit of support. How do i get that letter or what documents do i need to show my employer to obtain that letter of employment? Thank you

Ok now I am freaking out. Our case still shows in transit after a whole week. My fiancé’s medical is less than two weeks away. From what I’ve seen this isn’t normal. It should show “ready” by now. Has anyone had this issue? Will the NVC be able to tell me why or be useless?
