Sorry for disappearing for a few days. Running through some files apparently not really missing but given different from my smart government’s embassy 🤦🏻‍♀️

Update:

Noa1 received: 9/15 submit: 9/18

Noa2: 4/4 on paper 4/5 online

NVC received: 4/25

Case number: 4/26

In transit: 5/2 (mail notification)

Ready:5/7 (however it actually is 1 business day because japan has a holiday between 5/3-5/7

Medical: 5/15    Results:5/18

Packet3: 5/15 (This was not regular! Do not risk like I did - Embassy in Tokyo prefers some files (may slightly change depending on the country of origin) to be sent before the interview - We ended up asking them because of the interview date being so close...hope they won’t scold me on the interview for it...)

Interview: 5/21 (changed from 6/11 which changed from 7/9 - if I tried to reschedule due to packet3 not coming on time I would have paid the MRV fees again.)

Now I go back to scanning months up to date, and translating all the new documents...

Glad you got your packet 3 sorted!  And just a few more days until your interview now!

Hello Guys!!!!

@Naes maybe you have heard something about this because I am very worrying and don't know what to think. I received my case number on May 3rd up till now when I check the status it is said that it is at NVC. Why it can take so long? What to do?

I did hear a few people stuck at NVC.. I don't know the reason. She is trying to sort it out for a few weeks now...they are giving no info.. :/

Girl, just BREATHE and let yourself relax a little.  You’ve got everything you need.  You’ve got this!   Even if they weren’t happy about it, they still sent it to you.  They could’ve just said no, flat out.  But they didn’t.  They sent it.  So they’ll get over it and you can get on from this God forsaken process, with your fiancé by your side. :)  You’ll be fine, girl. Really.  Now if I can take a phrase from the great and wise @Greenbaum , “Trust the process.”  :D Lol

All fingers crossed 🤞 I’m planning a Disneyland trip Wednesday just so I won’t be able to check the website. Again and again and again...

Hi all, I have a question -- is it normal to go through administrative processing even though the visa was approved on the interview day? Many thanks!

Yes it is.

Is it on immigrant AP or Non-immigrant AP?

If it is on Immigrant, and there is no problem with the visa, it will turn to non-immigrant AP before it will get issued.

Thanks Naes! By non-immigrant AP, do you mean the case status is shown under the non-immigrant visa? I can access my case status under the immigrant visa category and it shows AP for now.
