Any one else on the thread have an NOA2 date of 4/27? Hoping to hear from NVC the end of this week or the start of next 🤞🏻

Good luck to everyone who have already heard from NVC and are getting ready for their medical appointments and interviews! ☺️

on our hard copy it says 26 as notice date .we called one week ago  and our case was not there so we're considering calling again today or tomorrow maybe they've received it already? we'll see it's 17 days now since apprroval

I called today for NVC case # and she started asking for names and beneficiary birthday, I thought that usually means our NVC case # was assigned and they need to confirm my identity, but apparently after giving all that information, she tells me the case number is still being generated. :mellow: Oh wells... I guess I'll try again tomorrow. My case was received on May 7th.

My fiancée just called the NVC today and he was advised that they haven’t send our papers here in the Philippines. Should I still proceed with my medical tomorrow and just bring the NVC website’s screenshot showing “AT NVC” or should I wait for it to be in “IN TRANSIT” or “READY” status? YES YES YES!!!

and what does CFO clearance and CFO interview means? Every Filipino leaving the Philippines on a visa, including a K-1, must attend CFO.

Follow and trust the process.  http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/cfo-orientation-seminar.html

Hi guys! Just out of curiosity... I'm Canadian and living in Canada currently. For my Canadian police certificate, do I need to be fingerprinted? I did for my Japanese police certificate but I'm not sure about the local... Any Canadians in here? Which did you opt for? I'm getting ready to book my appointment for the PC and these are my options below

It's ok to take medicine. Just inform the Dr. as to what you are taking.

NOA2 - 19th April 2018

NVC Received - 8th May 2018

Case # assigned - 14th May 2018 😁🎉

Did yours say its being expedited to your consulate?! Im really confused by that!

2 hours ago, DPP123 said:

@Daniel P did you get this notification? Just wondering why they are expediting. I never asked for that. Im happy it is of course but don't want to get excited if this is normal for the Spaniard applicants.

We have seen that a lot lately but it really doesn't mean anything. Just ignore and proceed normally. Schedule the appoint when you see it fits your scheduling. I'm not sure they are doing it for everyone as not many have reported the same.

Just by a curiosity. Why do he have to black out the last 5 numbers? It’s any issues with that? Sorry I ask. But I have my  complete fiancé social security number on the copy of the taxes. and I wonder if is any problem if someone see it.

It's not required to black out but I like to protect my SSN and it should only be seen by eyes that have permission. And since I don't know who that is I blacken mine. If the CO needs it it's on all the other paperwork they have in the system.

No not yet, ours says at NVC still. It's on administrative processing then right after it will be expedited to the consulate, which means your case is on it's way to the embassy.

@Greenbaum  when I check my case I get the following message which leads me to these steps listed on this site https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/after-petition-approved/begin-nat-visa-center.html

Do we need to do this? I am trying to figure out the next step in this process. Thanks in advance

They sent you to the immigrant information not the K1 immigrant information. K-1 is labeled as immigrant till you are approved at your interview then when they are ready to issue your visa your status will change back to non-immigrant.

I don't know what country you are from as you have not completed your profile which is making it hard for me to help you.

Please change your profile so we know what Embassy your processing through and what visa you are chasing.

Go to the top right of this page select your name>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". Country is important. There now we can better serve you.  Once I know the country we can help you along the way.

That information is to identify that you can access your record.  They should be asking each time you call. It's not an uncommon request as they ask most.

It's normal, I got the same email. They're said to be expedited probably because they're electronic.
