I have read some in that though @ChuAni but am not sure if the life insurance. my fiancee wants to know that way he can prepare all the documents needed and he can send it to me the beneficiary through snail mail.

on the instruction its only asking for these evidences but are these all documents we need for FORM I-134?

For assets they want to know those that he has that are "liquid". Meaning that he can convert to cash quickly if needed to support you and he (of course if their are any children involved."  So using that yard stick of measurement life insurance is an asset that can't be cashed out easily so isn't one of those financial items to include.

NBI CLEARANCE (USEM requires Green Form). Applicants aged 16 years and older must have a valid Record Clearance (purpose: for travel abroad) from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). Clearances should be in the applicant’s current name, birth certificate name, maiden name and any aliases or nicknames used, including different spellings you have used of those names. Be sure this is what you have done. Many have failed at getting all their names searched and after the interview and before being approved that had to return to the NBI for a new document with searches completed on AKA's.

Though the correct use for the NBI is for "travel abroad" your reason is fine.  They are more concerned with the AKA's and that the document is not more than 6 months old at the time of the interview.

i think she was referring about cenomar with this one. our NBI clearance here in philliphines is change to one purpose which is  'multipurpose'.

When they give you the number of NVC they will give you the number for each of your children, in the Noa2 their names do not appear, I tell you because my fiancé also made the request for my daughter and last week they gave us the number for each one, so just wait for NVC!

Thank you. That's great to know.

I just checked my NBI CLEARANCE and the purpose was "Multi-purpose" is that applicable?

thank you for that info... my fiancee was really worried about that if we do have to provide the supporting documents for the life insurance... it will take at least 3weeks for him to complete that one. I'll take not of that thank you so much.

same goes for me... I can't think of a day I have not cried just dealing with the papers... but for me its fine ... but am worried about you since you're preggy  :(. I can't imagine all the stress you're dealing right now... :(

Guys. I agree this can be stressful. It was stressful for me also. Having said that you need to trust the process and follow the steps at http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html  If you do, your stress level will be way down. Your overthinking this process that's what is giving you the stress. Everything that is on that website is proven. But you are running around making more work for yourself.  It's all that you need to have a unstressful interview.

We got out case # last May 10 and the status still says “AT NVC”. I was wondering how many days does NVC send the packet to Manila Embassy. Scheduled my interview on June 1.

Are you checking your case online at CEAC?

That's fine. No need for another one. USEM really doesn't pay to much attention to the "purpose" as they do to the results, if all AKA's were searched and that the document is on a green security paper, is original and not older than 6 months.
