Soooo exciting ! Was that the first available date for both ? Or did you purposely pick a later date ?

Well, he’s still waiting on his medical records which should be here next week. That was the only day he could get an appointment time. Other days were available but it was a first come, first serve deal and he just didn’t want to be waiting hours on a maybe. It showed earlier dates for interview but for some reason wouldn’t allow him to book them so the 12th is what we got. Gives him plenty of time to gather up and organize everything.

Dear friends, can any one give suggestions on below, thanks.

1. Apart from I-134, recent communications, photoes, whatsapp chat, email communication etc what are the other possible documents/ evidences I need to take during my interview?

2. Do I also need to take copy of i129F?

3. Any chances of success if I ask my fiancé to present during interview?

4. Do the consulate ask to provide any details on weeding plans? What is we can represent to them for this ?

Guys, just called NVC. They received my case on 05/09. Yesterday 05/10 they did not have any case# for me yet. I called just now again 13:00 EST, and was told to call back and push 5 instead of 7. So does this mean like positive dynamic already? I dialed with a 5 and guy by the name Jake asked me my receipt number. Told me it was transferred to electronic this morning, but did not have case# for me yet. Explained me,that things are going pretty fast now, and suggested to call back. I wonder if it might be assigned, if I call closer towards the evening, like 8PM EST?

1) Boarding Passes, Copies of Stamped Passport

2) It isn't a requirement for the Interview, but you can have it as an 'extra' and review all info. included in it.

3) It depends...e.g., some embassies allow Petitioners inside the hall and can answer questions from the CO while some embassies don't. Also, the Petitioner can stay outside and the Beneficiary informs the CO that he/she is outside in case he/she is needed. Well, if your case is straightforward, you don't need it.

4) In some cases, but it is advised to state when asked about plans for the wedding that 'specific plans haven't been made due to the visa process', 'we would be having our wedding within the 90-day period given to us by US Immigration, but no certain date has been fixed', 'the date would be fixed upon my arrival to USA'. You can give a general answer like, 'we wish to have a Courthouse Wedding in Texas'.

Some cases handled here, it has been confirmed that some COs frown at pictures of wedding gown, rings, bands etc. They tend to believe the couple has already wedded. So, leave out the details. Take in the Basics!

I don’t know if this was asked already because it’s like 30 pages away from where i was last time. I am about to schedule now,

1. St. Lukes doesn’t give any appointment coz it says its not necessary. Does that mean i’ll just walk in any day i choose?

2. Also, it says that we are advised to take medical exam 2 weeks before the interview. So if I choose to take the medical Exam next week wednesday, Should i schedule interview at exactly two weeks later, so Next next wednesday?

Noa2 is usually enough, but getting it through an embassy takes a lot of time, I would suggest starting it really soon.

Thank you thank you!!

SLEC is first come first served. Be sure to arrive a little early as the lines start forming around 4 am. Monday's, Tuesday's and Wednesday are terrible days to go because all the Moms are there with their children. Children need to take a test and the results are read 3 days later. You're better off to on Thursday. You can schedule for Monday after you do the medical on Thr/Fri or whatever works for you. You will hand carry your medical to the interview. In years past SLEC would send the records to USEM but that changed 3 years ago but they haven't removed that from the website.
