So the NVC found our case again and it was transferred to electronic... I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing. Any thoughts?

I don’t know about electronic vs not, but I’m glad to see that they found your case again, I’m sure you were really freaked out about that. 👍

You have no idea, I lost my cool on Daffnie multiple times, and my fiancé tried so hard to calm me down but it didn’t work.

I think you will be cutting it close with that appointment date. Remember you have medical and CFO to do as well as getting NBI and CENOMAR completed.

Also the Embassy states this warning:

Embassy states in their checklist: Do not finalize arrangements for travel to the United States, dispose of property, or resign from your job until a visa has been issued and delivered to you. Generally, a single-entry fiancé(e) (K1) nonimmigrant visa is valid for six months from the date of issuance, unless its validity is limited by medical or other restrictions.

Thanks @Greenbaum I actually booked a ticket for a June interview in Manila (ticket price doubles when u schedule it less than a month away) Now im stressed, realized theres still a risk not getting a slot...my case no may be available nxt week.

Called NVC and this time they said something different. Until yesterday, They said they are still reviewing it which means administrative processing. Today, they said they’re doing final touches filling into their system before sending to the embassy. (Electronic case)

Hope it changes to In Transit soon!

How long the case is in the NVC?

Hi guys! The embassy received our case!!!!! Wohooooo!!!!!! Now for Packet4. For anyone waiting for case numbers, etc, be sure to finish your DS160 and keep it saved until it's ready to send. If I had to go back in time, I would have given this advice to myself. I had read online it doesn't take that long (20min) but it took me alot longer...if you've travelled alot to the States you can find a summary of all your travels online (i94). It took me awhile and my fiance and I don't have any criminal records, kids, former spouses, etc but we have travelled alot and lived in different countries so it took alot longer than anticipated. Also cropping the photo took several attempts. So if you're calling NVC all day, everyday , give yourself a break and work on this form and just get it out of the way! 😁
