Yes pay your fee at BPI. Call ahead to the bank to ensure they take the USEM interview payment as few branches can't. Be sure to print off the receipt and bring picture ID with you. Let's move on setting up your interview as slots fill fast.

Sorry I am confused. 

Ignore your case readiness as you will not interview for another month because you have your medical to do, CFO can be completed and you'll be busy getting CENAMAR and NBI. By the time you get all these things finished your case will be at NVC waiting on you.

 IF you have lived in a foreign country for 6 mos. or more from the age of 16 or older you will need to secure a police clearance from each of those countries. Use the website below and look for the requirements from Japan. Be aware that it can take upwards of 2 months to receive PC from Japan unless of course you are still in country and then it will be a little faster.

You are not required to wait till either "transit or ready" to begin gathering your documents and setting your interview appointment for The Philippines Embassy. This whole idea about getting your case number early is to shave off 2-4 weeks in wait time. Otherwise there is no need to get the case number because it's needed for setting the appointment/medical and during the time your waiting for your "ready" status to appear you would have gotten the NVC email with your case number.  If you are waiting for transit or ready your wasting valuable time but of course if you aren't in a hurry then by all means wait.

SLEC wants the Interview letter from the National Visa Center (NVC) or Visa Interview Appointment Confirmation from the Embassy (just print off a screen shot of the confirmation page once your appointment has been secured) either or. Make three copies, two for the medical and one for USEM.

I think you will be cutting it close with that appointment date. Remember you have medical and CFO to do as well as getting NBI and CENOMAR completed.

 

Also the Embassy states this warning:

 

Embassy states in their checklist: Do not finalize arrangements for travel to the United States, dispose of property, or resign from your job until a visa has been issued and delivered to you. Generally, a single-entry fiancé(e) (K1) nonimmigrant visa is valid for six months from the date of issuance, unless its validity is limited by medical or other restrictions.

NVC will email you your case number once it is "IN TRANSIT" and I will print that for the medical. I am positive I will get the email next week then have my medical around May 22 or 23

@stat  you were the one from Davao, right? Can.t send you a private message, anyway, called CFO today and they said they will open an office in DAVAO soon. They do not have a definite date but they said anytime June. You may msg them on FB or call them on the numbers they provided on CFO website.

WoW that great news to have CFO office in Davao. For many it will make it easier but Mindanao is pretty large land mass and I am thinking of that long bus ride from other parts of the island. In the end it's best to have a least on location there.
