Guys... situation here  :(  I am totally confused about the documents I need to bring for the Visa Interview. on the website here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/nonimmigrant-visa-for-a-fiance-k-1.html#1 it says "Applicants should take to the visa interview clear, legible photocopies of civil documents and translations, such as birth and divorce certificates. Original documents and translations will be returned.

We are gathering all the documents we need for this... Do i need to prepare the Original birth certificate of my fiancee? or I can bring with me a Copy of his birth certificate with stamp?

You should get that document from your medical at the exam.

As youve already submitted i believe you can explain you misunderstood and the documentation is in your medical at the interview. Either way you have to have documentation for it, I believe you can ask to the clinic that was assigned.

CAN i still edit my ds 160 form?

If you follow everything contained in that website you will have less stress because you'll know what to do, when to do it, the documents you'll need to do it and links to find the documents to do for it. Ask your specific question in the sub forum for the Philippines here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/ as the ones who are here are facing there own challenges in their country and really don't have a handle on what needs to be completed for the process for the Philippines.

I have read the instructions from visa connection. BUT I just want to make sure that I’m doing the right thing even if I scheduled my interview first below the medical. For example will schedule the interview on May 30 and will do my medical on May 16.

@Greenbaum Hi I am awaiting my new passport but I want to book my interview already (already paid). When booking the interview it asks to provide your passport information and I wonder if I can just put the information of my old passport, schedule the interview and just edit the passport information once the new one comes in or should I just wait for my new passport?

Oh no! Do you think that this is going to be a problem?

I don’t think so. I mean you will have the documents by then and can explain you meant your old records if they ask.

Your on the wrong website. That is generic list and is not applicable to some Embassy's. Try going to the Embassy website for the Philippines and look at the check list. It's located toward the bottom of the page. If you bring every listed document you will pass. https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Also check here for additional items needed throughout the process for USEM, CFO and Medical http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html I believe you will find your answer to your last question there also.

There is no harm in answering that question with a yes and your bringing your vaccinations record with you. But it should really be tick as No as you "don't know what vaccinations are needed and that will be determined at the medical" which should be your answer. You'll be find. Confusing question at best.

Use your old passport number and when you get to the interview present your new passport and chances are you will have a new number to which they will then update their records and they will hold your new one for the visa insertion.

So I dont need to call them before the interview to edit that information? I am trying to call them right now to ask but no one is answering. I am just afraid of the disclaimer that if you enter wrong information you may be asked to pay another visa fee and no one wants that. :)

I agree that no one wants to pay the fee all over again but in your case your going to be fine. Your going to have a interview that will last all of 5 minuets. You'll walk out with a grin because you passed but you will be stunned that you did all this work and did all this worrying for just an interview that last no more than 5 minutes. :D You'll feel like the gangster on the corner reached out his hand and said "pay me sucker $265 buckaroos'".
