I feel like I’ve been through a rite of passage today—called NVC for the first time. I was bummed that they don’t have my case yet (NOA2 April 27), but was pleasantly surprised that there was zero waiting time, got right through immediately. 👍

So the case no being asked in DS16 and when we schedule for interview is the MNL# not WAC# ?

Wow. Ok. I hope I hear something soon. I just called USCIS and they said my RFE is currently with a agent and I should hear something within a couple days. But honestly they probably say that to everybody right?

Not yet.  I will call again tonight and tomorrow.  I have noticed a pattern with them.  Case numbers are usually assigned two days after they have been received for electronic cases.

Spoke to lovely Sunny at NVC today - case number not assigned but confirmed it was recieved on the 8th May & is electronic.

 

Hoping my fiancé gets an email today or tomorrow :)

 

I hope London Embassy has lots of availability in July as i dont fly back from my visit to Jake until the 9th of June - hoping to book my medical late June.

I do have a question for fellow U.K. filers...

with the couriior service does he need to pick it up at the closest office to him OR is it delivered directly to him?

He can have it delivered to a depot closest to him at no additional charge.  Alternatively, he can pay to have it delivered directly to him.  He would’ve had to make this selection when he paid the fee to schedule.  If he selected the free option when he scheduled, there will be an option to pay to upgrade to premium service (which is home delivery).  The option he selected will be displayed on the home page when he logs into the scheduling system.
