That’s pretty much exactly what my fiancé was missing.  He had measles and rubella vaccinations as an infant but no mumps.  In the end, we just ending up asking his GP to do the MMR all over again to be on the safe side.  He got two doses 30 days apart.  Since GP did them for free, we were able to avoid paying Knightsbridge any more money than they were already taking from us for the medical exam.  Lol

@Kswtangel Thank you so much!!!❤️

I knew it was the same issue because we are neighbours(country)lol, so the vaccination system was similar. What about the medical summary? Did your fiancé had to go and get the one in Hungary and the one at the GP?

The interview requests police certificate from home and ACRO.  Did he go home for that? I am trying to find answers everywhere and it looks like I have to get it...

Sorry for bothering you with so many questions, the last case similar to mine was in 2008😖, and since then a lot have changed with the process for K1 visa

@stat thank you... i thought we're near the finish line but somehow still there are lots of things to be done... I called the Embassy Visa Information today and the customer rep that i talked to says that NVC will provide me the Interview date  so I have to wait for the "Packet #3" which contain the instructions I need to do next. and he added that "Immigrant Visa Unit" will mail me a letter for eligibility for Visa application. So now the ending is that am totally confused of what to do next. am not sure if i can book online for visa interview or I have to wait for the "Packet #3"... and the letter with the visa interview date is "Packet #4".???:cry::cry: :bonk:

why did you call though? and nope you will schedule your  own interview date not them, our visa is non immigrant though it fall as an immigrant for somw reason that they explain here. Packet 3 mostly fiances receive it before or after or even if they're already in US(if they passed the interview) i was confused too before about the packet 3 but i learned you can receive an email.we receive it last day stating i am eligible to book for an interview. And again you dont have to wait for that just booked the appointment 1 month before or 3 weeks.trust me ive been in that confusion and all.google and this forum helps me a lot.Schedule that interview now it's all good. if your bf haven't send the documents that you nees yet atleast schedule 1 month before so you have time to prepare

the packey 3 is only the letter that contains instruction.if you will wait it can take up to months(it isn't important at all) your fiance can receive an letter through email from USEM that's eligibility letter that's the packet 3 email.that's all you need.it looks like that pic below☺️   packet 4 is your visa already of course if you passed the interview

Our case took 22 days to arrive at NVC but our case number was available the next day and it was “in-transit” the day after that.

This is the availability for the London Embassy as of now guys.  You can schedule your medical at Knightsbridge as soon as you have your case number.  To schedule your interview though, you’ll need your case to show “in-transit” on CEAC.  The scheduling system won’t allow you to do it before then but it usually only takes a few days for that to happen.  :)

Thanks for the info! It’s nice to have an idea of availability when we are able to schedule :)

No worries!  That’s what we’re here for, to help each other.   :) My fiancé moved to the UK when he was 10 so we only had to get records for the UK.  The police certificates are needed for anywhere you’ve lived for more than a year since the age of 16.  My fiancé has lived in London since before that age so he only needed the UK one.  As far as medical records, we only had his current GP print one out for him.  You might want to call Knightsbridge to double check with them but since all they are checking for is current or recurrent illnesses that you’re being treated for, I would think a summary from your current GP would suffice as long as you are established with them, are generally healthy, and don’t have an extensive medical history.  If you do have a complicated medical history, you will likely need notes from your previous GP if they treated you for that diagnosis.  Again, other than his vaccination book, he didn’t have or request any records from Hungary.  Actually, we did request a new birth certificate from Hungary but only because the new ones are printed in both Hungarian AND English.  We were trying to avoid having to pay for it to be translated.    If you have any other questions, don’t feel bad for asking.  If I can help, I’m happy to.

Hello All!

I did research, but I still need confirmation from anybody if I did everything right. :)

Fiance will mail me hardcopies of the ff:

a. Intent to Marry

b. I-134 filled out form (2 copies? one for me and one for my son??)

b. 2017 Tax return

c. Employment Cert stating employment date, rate and status.

d. 6 mos paystubs

e. NOA2 approval letter (don't think its needed)

Soft copies from him:

a.  I-129F application (just in case needed)

b. NVC approval with case number (soft copy is ok, right?)

c. Copy of his birth cert? passport?

My docs to present:

a. Proof of relationship (pic, chat/call history, boarding passes)

b. Cenomar

c. Birth Certs

d. DS160 filled out form

e. USEM paid interview appointment

f. Medical at Slec

Clarification:

I only need to fill out one DS160, right? I have my son travelling with me.

Thanks All, appreciate your help <3

hi..... I think ... you need "2" DS160 ...one for you and one for your son.

Embassy told me... we are 3.... and I need 3 DS160
