i experienced that too, the education section disappeared. I am currently unemployed so i clicked unemployed and stated the reason, then i put educational background, i hit next and then when i go back it’s gone. i went back and forth it’s really not there but i am 💯 percent sure i filled that up. in the end I gave up and the just continue. it didn’t give any error anyway so i let it that way. 😬

Ignore :)

That’s usually for immigrant cases (cr1 etc) however at this step as they take k1 as an immigrant case what they show does not really apply to k1.

Your case is at nvc and fkr the time being youcan ignore. Or you can find your country’s list to check but it is just a flow explanation on how it works.

for example this is from traveldocs about my embassy, but there is no real steps to do.

Thanks so much @Naes!! That definitely helps ease my anxiety lol Do you know about the average time people are waiting for it change from “at NVC” to “in route”? I am preparing the documents to send to him and he is filling out the Ds-160 as he can. But should we be paying any fees now or just wait until it reaches the embassy in Mumbai? Thank you so much for all your help and advice and the  support I’ve received from you and  through following these forums from the start of this process. It’s been such a great help and has given me so much encouragement to be and feel like I’m going through this process with so many others.

it doesn't hurt to try, sometimes the after lunch transaction or i think 3 o'clock is listed as another days transaction. But then again it wont messed up anything if you try to schedule after 4 hours☺️

Hello All!

I did research, but I still need confirmation from anybody if I did everything right. :)

Fiance will mail me hardcopies of the ff:

a. Intent to Marry

b. I-134 filled out form (2 copies? one for me and one for my son??)

b. 2017 Tax return

c. Employment Cert stating employment date, rate and status.

d. 6 mos paystubs

e. NOA2 approval letter (don't think its needed)

Soft copies from him:

a.  I-129F application (just in case needed)

b. NVC approval with case number (soft copy is ok, right?)

c. Copy of his birth cert? passport?

My docs to present:

a. Proof of relationship (pic, chat/call history, boarding passes)

b. Cenomar

c. Birth Certs

d. DS160 filled out form

e. USEM paid interview appointment

f. Medical at Slec

Clarification:

I only need to fill out one DS160, right? I have my son travelling with me.

Thanks All, appreciate your help <3

I don’t want to give information as after NVC it really depends on the embassy and I’m not that familiar with Mumbai. But I believe you can find better information on it at India portal.

Hi @stat , saw below from the link you attached. This may sound stupid, but just wanna confirm that I can already pay at BPI today and just keep my receipts even if I schedule my interview 1st week of June?

  1. The visa fee is valid only for one year. Book your appointments as early as possible.

Thanks a lot.

Yes as it is valid for a year, just keep the receipt  coz it's very important the receipt # is what you need to book an appointment and the barcode will be in your appointment letter
