how did you arrange your interview for the USEM in Manila? we just had our notification mail today and my fiance sent the copy to me. and our case says in transit can I already jump in booking for my interview?

As soon as our case status changed to ready, I had him fill out the DS-160 online, he went to BPI and paid the fee with the printed MRV fee slip and since it was Friday almost after business hours, we waited until Monday afternoon (Phil time) to schedule interview online and the calendar will tell you what dates (with time slots) are available. Good luck! ;)

Can I now schedule for medical examination? My fiancee sent me a copy of the notification letter from NVC which says they will now forward our petition to the USEM here in my country? is this the next step i need to take to book a schedule for medical examination?

Medical examination are not by appointment, you can pick the days that are convenient to you and make sure you register online at http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/ as you will need to bring the registration form with you when you go in for your med exam (this is valid only for one month). You can schedule your interview at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ and payment options are available there as well. Make sure that your case status is ready before paying the fee (screenshot a pic of your ready status in case they ask for it), you may wait about 6hrs. to next business day after payment before scheduling an interview. ;)

Schedule interview at least 3 days after your med exam (the earliest) or if you prefer a later time. Good luck!

Why do we have to wait for the case to be “ready” before we pay? I read that you can pay right away when you aready have a case number.

🤔 since we are talking about requirements, ive had all the papers ready since march. So, my letter from the company and affidavit of support is dated around 2nd week of march and then the pay slip i sent were only up to that month too, i sent them all last week of march. should i worry about that? coz dates are going to be pretty far now from the expected date of interview appointment. should i resend them with in the most recent date.

Now that my case has been received, any advise on how much I should be calling ?

Calling more than once a day is simply ridiculous- though I know at this point we have all gone crazy anyway :jest:
Just call at the end of the day. Once your case is received, generating a number is a system issue. It can be anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks.
So just give them a day and try again
