We book our own interview in the Philippines. You have to pay the visa fee first before you can book the interview online or via phone.

thank you for your helpful response

Do your ds160 if you haven't yet and gather requirements needed for the interview (i134, nbi clearance, birth cert, cenomar, etc). Pay visa fee (http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visafeeinfo.asp) then schedule interview here: https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=Philippines (you have to make a log in)

thats wonderful response thank you i will take down notes of all those details and get back here again if i have further queries ...  :)

now that confused me actually. I thought we need to bring confirmation of interview appointment with us when we go to the medical exam. im pretty sure ive read that somewhere 🤔 so maybe you have to book interview first before the medical exam. Can someone correct me please if im wrong 😊

that gives me a big question mark now... then what should i do now? I am planning to undergo medical exam next week Monday at SLEC... should i cancel that one and book for interview first or... proceed to medical? or I can pay for the Interview fee tomorrow here in the Philippines at BPI and proceed to interview booking online and then continue with my Medical plan on Monday at SLEC?

You can do it either way. Booking the interview then medical or medical first then book the interview. It's up to you.

SLEC wants the Interview letter from the National Visa Center (NVC) or Visa Interview Appointment Confirmation from the Embassy (just print off a screen shot of the confirmation page once your appointment has been secured) either or.

@stat @Greenbaum I already did online Registration for medical examination for SLEC and planning to go this Monday to do that. While I was filling for the online registration form they asked for the interview date but i left it blank coz i don't have it yet that time that i register for medical exam our status was "In Transit" I don't know if i did the right thing or i messed up :(. Our status just change today from "In Transit" to "Ready"

I already sent my DS-160 the time that our case status at NVC was "In Transit" Hope there is no problem with that... when paying for the MRV Fee is there sort of thing I need to do or say at the bank teller or are there any other requirements I need to bring with me aside from the payment?

Your visa application has a one year expiration date. We have never known anyone delayed that long even for TB treatment from SLEC. You can schedule your interview date, so you get on the schedule without delay in the event everything goes smoothly, then do your medical. If you get delayed then the embassy will work with you to move your interview date.  You can cancel two times without losing your fee or having to start over.

oohh okay, i thought it will be a total waste if something goes wrong. Thank you so much! 🙏🏻

well they said it’s okay to do that. I was planning to do the medical too coz i think its much safer that way but on the other side, the earliest available date for interviews will continue to move so if you are looking for the earliest date then maybe you should book interview appointment too. If not then you should relax 😊, based on everything ive read here you are still on track.

i got you confused too 😅 im sorry if i worry you about that.
