Yes you can print it out and take that document unless your medical specifically says bring document from embassy.

which embassy?

what kind of difference will using a lawyer make in this question? (Just curious because of PS, is there something we should take into account?)

Which page do I print out? The result from this case tracker: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Embassy in Mumbai

There wouldn't be a difference, I wanted to enquire whether my lawyer was supposed to receive this particular document & since its a weekend/night time in the US I would be able to get a quicker response from the forum thats all.

Ah ok. (I was just trying to understand if you had a concern specific to having a lawyer, like your emails and notifications going to the lawyer and not to you.)

You don’t print out from there. they should have sent you an e-mail with an attachment when the case goes into “transit” , in japan it is ok to use this e-mail to go to medical because this has your name and case number and all necessary information.

so either you (or maybe your lawyer I’m not sure I didn’t use one) will or should have received this. There won’t be a hard copy letter but just an e-mail.

Some medical clinics also accepts the printout (it is actually printout of the screenshot) of the case status but I’m not sure if clinics in India does.

Good morning from Germany 🇩🇪 we got our case number on Friday last week- a few hours after I was kidnapped by my friends for my bachelorette party 🎉 😂

Our petition goes to the embassy in Frankfurt/ Germany. Since Friday the status says "at Nvc"

how long does it usually take to change the status ? Do I need to call my embassy at some point ? I filled out the DS260 already, had my medical and all that stuff - so I'm ready To go ☺️

I think you need to do ds160, not ds260

Did you read the k1 checklist from frankfurt embassy?

You will be sending them your documents, and as said you should be doing ds-160.

Yes I did read it :) I was just wondering if people from Germany called the embassy as soon as their case status said "Ready"  to give the embassy their email address. Basically to speed up the process in in any way ( if that is even possible) :P

K-1!!?

Every K-1 goes to CSC, unless it's kinda faulty. When faulty, can be transferred to VSC

P.S..We shouldn't wish for everything we see!

Yeah you don’t want to go to Vermont. Cases with criminal background go there.

and most of vj members who write vermont and Texas is actually a big mistake of people who think their case went to Texas because they sent it to Dallas lockbox and who thinks old system still works and their case will go to vermont because of their address.

all k1 goes to California. Then due to reasons that believe me you don’t want (such as DV cases -waivers) may get a transfer...
