I just called the NVC and I am happy to say I have my case number guys....

NOA2-April 12th (paper)/13th (online)

NVC received-May 2nd

NVC case number assigned-May 4th

Hopefully it'll be at the embassy next week...

Good luck to everyone still waiting...your time is coming!

Hi Brittani, did you on 5 or 7? I am under 5, so that's electronic case. How about you? My case was received on 3rd May, one day later than yours. I hope I can get my case number next Monday. Fingers crossed!

When answering the following question in DS-160, should we checkmark Yes or No? We have an idea of when my fiancee will be coming here but no specific travel plans yet as we don't have the approval from the embassy. Please help!

Have you made specific travel plans? Error
Yes No

Provide a complete itinerary for your travel to the U.S.:

Yes!  You can schedule your medical at Knightsbridge.  They will just ask for your case number when making the appointment.  If NVC has your email address, you should be getting an email with your case number as well.  I just forwarded that to my fiancé who printed it out and took it with him to the appointment.  Alternatively, you can print a copy of your status on CEAC if you need to.  I’m pretty sure they just want something to show your case number on it.  Monday is a UK bank holiday, unfortunately, so call Knightsbridge on Tuesday to schedule your medical.  They open at 9am.  Surprisingly, when we scheduled my fiancé’s appointments, the Embassy actually had much sooner availability.  I called Knightsbridge everyday for a week asking about cancellations and we were eventually able to get an appointment 9 days sooner.  You might not be that fussed about getting a sooner date but, just so you know, it is possible.

Yes, DS-160 can be completed now as well.  Some of the questions can be confusing and the page times out quickly so we printed out a blank copy of the questions and filled it out ahead of time.  Then we just went back and plugged in the answers.  Of course, this isn’t necessary but we found it helpful.  Alternatively, just keep saving as you go along so that you’re not stuck having to re-complete sections you’ve already done.  Sooo annoying.  <_<  Lol

would you mind sharing with us how you printed out the blank copies i'd like to do so but don't know how to proceed and also knowing that some question may raise depending on some previous answer so please any help on that will be appreciated. thx

Well, when I called this last Wednesday they were actually able to tell me that my case had been received but unfortunately could not provide any details because it was an electronic case so I knew I would have to dial 5. When I called the next day on Thursday around lunch time (pressing 5) they did confirm they had received my case but no case number yet. I was very close to not even calling but I gave it all day and as soon as she started asking me my name, his name/dob I knew then she said "if you have something to write with I can provide your case number now" I squealed like a little girl and said of course I have something. I was honestly surprised I thought it would take a little longer but I am thanking my lucky stars. I would call Monday night if you're able because you might have yours!

He needs to print the confirmation page with the barcode. As far as I know it's at least needed at the interview
