NVC has received our case as well. Just for others reference:

NOA2 date was 4/12

NVC received date was 5/3.

That is 21 calendar days from noa2 to nvc receive date days total.

Haven't received case # just yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

Hi, how did you get the notification when the NVC received your case?

Anyone who knows how do you get notified if the NVC office has finally got your file case from USCIS. Me and my fiancee had our NOA2 Hard Copy last April 16, 2018 (U.S. date) and in the mail it says "Notice Date : April 11, 2018"... My fiancee has been calling the NVC hotline couple of times now and they say that they have not receive our file yet. and when he asked how long could it possibly take the customer rep. says about 6 weeks.

Answers regarding my concern will be much appreciated thank you.

you just have to call again, that's what we do and the rest here. And they just tell you 6-8 weeks coz that's the average time of waiting but other's here i think the longest is 3 weeks☺️

For me every time I call they told me the online date (as it is not much of a counting measure it usually only differs a day or two)

@Drillerone Start calling after 2 weeks or when you see people with the same date range is receiving theirs.

@Naes Thank you... though from April 11, 2018 till the present date we are currently on our 24th days now... and just this week i think the 2nd or the 3rd my fiancee just called them up and still we got the same scripted answer. which they don't have it yet and it may take about 6 weeks...  :(  waiting is just so frustrating :(

Yes, I called like everyone said. No other notifications.

Question to everyone: Lady at NVC said my case was being processed electronically, and I always press option 5 when I call NVC. I saw some people mentioned this will take extra time due to new electronic filing system. Is there a realistic estimate to get a case # for electronic processing? Anyone else has had electronic filing?

There is no estimate anymore unfortunately, it used to take a lot longer(almost 2 weeks) for electronic cases to get a number but recently I believe they are adjusting the system and it takes only a few days. Probably why cases get their received status late but then get the case numbers on a better average (just my guess).
