Hi guys! Just a question here... fiance and I are doing the ds 160 form online and one part asks for the parents' info. His dad has not been involved since he was a child, and so they're not sure where he is right now. Only the last city that they thought he was living in. Would that suffice? Many thanks!

What to do after NOA2:

Spoiler

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.

Sooo we were notified of our approval on April 2nd through the USCIS website.

Then today came a plot twist... I asked my Fiance to send me a scan of our NOA2 hardcopy to keep in my records... and low and behold he failed to tell me that on the letter it says we were approved on March 30th!!!!! I feel like I've made my home here in the April approvals form so I'll keep hanging out here if thats ok

I have a question regarding the employment verification letter....

My employer wants to do it all formal like where you put the person's info at the top. I know it will be started as to whom it may concern but would I just give the London embassy address? I know this isn't a "major" issue or an issue at all but my boss is a very old school southern man who likes doing this the "proper" way.

Both it ok as there is no formal way to really do it (we don’t even have a letter...)

I got my police certificate about 2 months ago because ours is valid for 12 months. I think it depends on the country :)?

Any idea? How many police verification we need if we stayed in 1country but in multiple states for more than 1 year?

It is country based.

Which country are you talking about that have states like that that separates police certification?
