So I'm in a difficult situation. When my fiancee came in from El Salvador, she was handed the sealed packet and instructed not to open it. Inside were her medical records. We never received a copy of thost medical records and therefore do not have the supplemental vaccination page that we need to turn in in order to adjust her status to permanent resident. We were married March 3rd, and have had some set backs in trying to get all of the information ready to send it in. She came into the country on January 13, 2007. So she had been here for four months already, and I want to get all this information sent it. I took her to the doctor's office today to get her Titer's test done to see what vaccinations she might need. So we are waiting on the results of that test. The major problem I see is that the doctor thinks she will need her Heppititus B shots, which cover a six month period before they are completely done. Is there any other way around this, or do I have to wait until she recieves these injections before I can send this paperwork in to get her green card. If anyone has any helpful information about this, I would appreciate it.

My husband needed the chicken pox vaccine to complete the form for AOS filing. It is a 2 series shot, but the Civil surgeon checked and told us we did not need to complete the series to get the medical supplement form only have it started. So far no RFE or any word that that has caused a problem.

Did you try securing a copy at least of her vaccination record from the medical facility back in her country when she had her medical examination under the K-1 petition then? If not, then call and inform them if a duplicate is possible and/or the local US Embassy consulate. I don't know for others but I did not open my sealed envelope too BUT I was given a copy of at least the vaccination record from the medical center back in my country. And then you have to take your wife to a doctor for the shots, as well as a must to go see a USCIS accredited civil surgeon for the vaccination supplemental form to I-693 (which will be sealed-ask for a copy this time).

Otherwise, a full medical can be done but of course expensive.

Good luck!

You'll find that many civil surgeons will sign off on the vaccination supplement when only the first in a series of shots has been given.

This was our case. The DS-3025 said the vaccines were incomplete, but the I-693A said they are complete
