was on H1b from 2008 to 2016 and G4 Visa from Jan 2017 working for United Nations as G4 visa holder (Consultant).

Kindly advise, if i am liable to pay taxes for the year 2017 from the income earned from UNITED Nations as G4 visa holder (Consultant). I dont receive and W2 or any income statements from United Nations. I checked with the CPA (Tax consultant) and they say, i am not liable since i am G4 visa holder (non resident). I want someone advise who worked in similar situation.

if i go back to my H1b employer back and file my green card after few years so will there be any tax implication for not paying taxes as G4 visa holder (consultant).

Kindly advise
