5 years is a long time in London.

Absolutely, like I said it was getting bad when I lived there, guns and knives and it seems to be much worse.

Many moons ago I used to live in Tower Hamlets, now that was a OMG when I went back.

My first flat was in Bromley by Bow, I grew up on the east side of London and still have family and friends in the area.

PS comments are interesting.

Doesn't New York state have stricter gun control laws? Relative to other places in the US of course.

Also keep in mind -

"Despite the recent surge, New York, which has a slightly smaller population than London, has still suffered more murders since the start of the year."

I'm sure Parkland had one of the highest rates of murder in the country on February 14th.

But at least here in the USA we don't have deal with random acid attacks that happen in London.

Now that is a new thing, do not recollect that happening when I was there.

So you were born in Wales but grew up in the East of London? Confusing. London isn't as scary as you seem determined to portray it, for some reason.
