You are always required to request a CENOMAR at PSA, if married they issue the CEMAR  .. just the way it works.  So when the embassy requests a CENOMAR they don't necessarily expect to see a CENOMAR,

Read it on here.  It's been repeated a lot.  Dunno how truthful it is but seems legit considering some of their weird religious laws there.  When religion controls government,  things do not end well for citizens.

Regardless I know that Hank knows more about the USEM than most so I'd take his word on anything divorce and marriage related for there as almost gospel. :D

We are talking about getting a divorce, Religious laws really don't play into it for a person getting a divorce in Philippines, since it is done abroad and not in Philippines.

 

I have know a few who got divorced, I don't know about the statement most let the foreign spouse file for divorce.  Once they make it to the USA or to another country it really don't matter that much.

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.
