Hi everyone,

 

Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong place. 

 

My Fiance and I filed for a K1 visa in December :wub: and we are waiting on our NOA2 (and probable RFE).

 

With that in mind, my British passport expires in June 2019. So, for the sake of A) the rest of the K1 visa process and, B) the eventual AOS application process which I can only hope will be towards the end of 2018, should I apply for a new passport now or should I wait until after the K1 interviews etc and do it from the states.

 

I seems to me like doing it now would be best but I don't know if I should wait it out due to whole Brexit/British passport vs European Passport issue?

 

Any thoughts?

It is the best for you to do it now, before the interview.
