It doesn’t feel any better when people get approved after your timeline either...very frustrating to see but yet very happy for those people at the same time....time keeps on slipping, into the future...

Hey guys first time posting in here! our NOA1 is April 26th, my Fiancée is coming to visit this Friday! to stay for a week. we hope he gets stamped for longer to possible spend more time together then a week. we are hoping he has no problems because last time they almost sent him back because they thought he was trying to immigrate here and skip the visa. has anyone had an experience like this? being restricted time other then what the Tourist visa allows?

Welcome to our April group! Just have him bring as much proof of ties to home as he possibly can, the more he has, the easier time he will have at POE. In the end, it's up to the officer to let him in. Make sure he doesn't come with any belongings that might be considered "moving" - aka pack like a traveler. Does he have a return ticket? You make it sound like he doesn't have firm departure dates (which might cause issue).

It's nerve racking. Just need to keep in mind that there's nothing u can do at this point. We all chose to put our life's in the hands of uscis. Now we wait for them to tell us what we can and can't do..

hang in there. It will come for ya in due time.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

we booked the return flight for a week, and he is traveling light this time. but last time we planned on him staying a couple months because Brazil's tourist visa allows for a 6 months stay. but he didn't have any ties to home with him and did bring a lot of his stuff with him. the Officer said he had to leave after a month, and had to be in Brazil for when the visa is approved. we are worried he might have left notes of this and could be an issue with this visit.

If his ties to home are strong enough, it seems like he'd be granted the week stay that he has booked, but I'm not familiar enough with the tourist visa process to comment on how they allot time allowed. The good news is you are getting close to NOA2 now and it won't be long until he can come over to stay! :)

I am loosing my mind already..

We´ve sent the package 03/29..

NOA-1: 04/05.. I´ve seen people from 04/12 being approved.. anyone else from Brazil as late as I am?

Lots of people from all over are as late as you... more people are later than you than they are approved. You should look at it more as others being "early" and you still being on average timeline.
