I have the case tracker app as well.  Where do you find that 'active' info?

Not sure how I got it. It is there on my phone but not my fiance's with the same app.

Today is says Active 3 days so it counting down. I don't think it means anything at this point...

I've been tracking some statistics for our old-site "received date", Apr 17th.

Approx 170 K1 applications received

First date of updates to those cases: Oct 9th.

Tue Oct 9th: 2 cases updated - both RFE

Wed 10th: 9 cases  updated - all approvals

Thur 11th: 14 cases updated - all approvals

Fri 12th:  26 cases updated (2 RFE)  one "Notice of action" - sounds bad.

So 51 cases processed, 118 (I think) still to be processed.    There is  bias towards updating the earlier case numbers for that date, but some higher case numbers also updated.

Hope this helps you to understand the rate of progress and why you might be waiting even if others from your date have been processed.    Good luck to everyone waiting, for all dates.

Sooo I've seen that some of my April family members started collecting all the required documents for the interview. I got a couple of questions since there are some discrepancies between what's posted here and available on the travel.state.gov website. Here's the list I found on the forum:

  •  I-134 form, filled out and signed, no questions left blank
  • Pay stubs
  • Current passport
  • US visa size photos
  • Photos of us together since we submitted the I-129F
  • Long form birth certificate (+ photocopy)
  • Police certificate (+ photocopy)
  • Letter from sponsor's bank stating dates accounts opened and current balance (+ photocopy)
  • Employer letter (+ photocopy)
  • Tax transcript
  • DS-160 confirmation (+ photocopy)
  • DoS instruction page that says I paid my visa application fee
  • New signed and dated intent to marry for both of us
  • Boarding passes and itineraries for visits since we filed the I-129F (+ photocopies)
  • Letter from embassy with my case number and visa category on it
  • A copy of the submitted I-129F packet with evidence
  • Copy of the NOA2

Here's what I found on the travel.state.gov website:

  • Completed Form DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application. Y
  • A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S. (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions).
  • Divorce or death certificate(s) of any previous spouse(s) for both you and the U.S. citizen sponsor
  • Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)
  • Medical examination (vaccinations are optional, see below)
  • Evidence of financial support (Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, may be requested)
  • Two (2) 2x2 photographs. See the required photo format explained in Photograph Requirements
  • Evidence of relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e)
  • Payment of fees

Can you guys please shed some more light on what documents are actually required? Also, my understanding is that some of the docs (such as I-134 form) should be submitted by US fiance. Does it mean my fiance has to send the signed documents for me to present them in the embassy

And two more questions: do all the documents need to be written in English (e.g. police certificate)? If I go to the embassy in Poland and my native language is Polish, should any of the papers be written in Polish?

Is there anyone here from Poland as well? ;)

Big thank you for all the tips!!

Big thank you for all the tips!!

All of those are required as long as they are applicable to you. So for example for I-134, if the petitioner has well enough income to cover the requirement as proven by employee letter, they likely won't need anything further like a bank statement, but it never hurts to have it just in case. If you haven't ever been married and divorced you wouldn't need divorce certs, etc.

The letter from embassy (Packet 3), NOA2, I-129f copies, are all mainly useful to have in case you are asked any info at the interview from them. They typically don't ask for these to be turned in but they are good to have with you. Essentially bring multiple copies and originals of literally any ounce of paperwork you have thus far, just in case.

You should follow the Packet 3 instructions sent to you specific to Poland to see what they will require you to have and likely ask for at the interview, but don't limit yourself to only that list.

And yes, your petitioner will need to send I-134 and all related docs to you to take to the interview. Not sure about the translations, but I would lean towards yes best to have them translated either way.

Yes, I checked JUST for April 17th.   I started with our own WAC number and then just decreased/increased the number to get to the first and last K1 applications with that date.   It took a while!!

first met late 2016, met 13 more times since. Filed i-129 Apr 14th. NOA2 dated Oct 11th.
