Awww big hugs 🤗 I’m erring in the side of pessimism while being prepared so anything else is a bonus. If I start to see May filers approved before us though I’ll be a nightmare.

Ok note to self, don’t start reading vj other threads and second guessing everything like wether you’ve provided any or enough actual evidence of being in the same place  despite multiple visits included disregarding photos (that can be edited) when you have a change airport and no airport in your home town etc I just had a major freak out until my fiancé calmed me.

Add me to the antsy list.  I've been visiting this site every day for the past week.  I did a great job staying away until I saw April approvals.  Now the anxiety is palpable.  Excitement.  Hopefulness.  All this mishmash of feelings that I haven't felt since we first met in person.  Even though there will still be a long process, this is the big hurdle.  Things move much quicker after this.  In one sense, it's hard to believe its almost been five months.  But in another sense...it's like every day without the one you love is an eternity.  Soon enough we will be sharing our lives with the one we love and this will be a memory.  I'd like to skip to that part now, please!

U can't over think things. That's where the stress level starts to go up. Just sit back and relax. People will be approved before and after ur date. Nothing u can do about it. 

I had to wait nearly 30 days after my 210 to be approved. Rfe was sent prior to 210 days which did help. Just due to the fact I knew the case was worked on. So many people who had rfe's after me and sent them I were approved way before me. Most within 7 to 10 days. Yet I had to sit there and wait 23 days for my approval.. 

it will happen for y'all. This is the time to stay busy and be possitive. The end is so close now.😁

My girl has been pretty impatient. I am going to attempt to go see her. She is amazed that time has no effect on me. On the selfish side though I have been crossing my fingers that being a Marine Veteran will pull some punches and make things easier for her cause i know she is ready to come here and she has never been to America at all so she is also excited about seeing great ole America. haha

Thanks!! I’ve been so relaxed about the process and realistic about timescales until today. Making sure I do something each week toward visa/leaving the country so I always feel like I’m moving forward and Work are killing me I’m so busy.

I think my fiancé getting stressed for the first time about the wait triggered me.

One thing I read in another thread that a long term member JohnandRose said is this gets very stressful and has broken many good couples so concentrate on your relationships concentrate on our love, don’t concentrate on the process. 

It made me aware that we talk about this or something related like being together when I get there every single day. 

Im going to try not to for a week until I fly to enjoy time with him next Saturday.

The wait when you are waiting to leave your life behind and start your new life is killer it’s like a life on pause but we’ll all get through it.

I think it's an anxious time for everyone. Saw a 04/06 approval!! Guess will be checking the old and new site everyday lol. On the other hand there's something wrong with the stats since it's showing CSC March 10 which is messing up with estimated approval times.

 

Also - what's the checklist for post NOA2?
