My understanding from reading a previous post somewhere that your NOA1 is based on old site so would be March 28

I saw this and wanted to freak out but decided I'm waiting to freak out until I see an old site April approval... for my own sanity. 😄

There was some discussion on pages 57 and 58 about the dates...can trail back and read it...ultimately a poster looked into it and wrote about it....here is a screenshot...found this on page 58 April filers....maybe the expert Greenbaum can enlighten us 🙂

Maybe my verbiage is off you will see the approval on either site. Just the date on the new site is wrong, from the understanding I heard the lady say. So if your date on the new site says April 2 but should say March 30, your dates will follow the March 30th date.  So as far as I knew they were still updating both sites. to reflect the appropriate date based on your noa1 you received in the mail. However she also stated that these things are processed in order based on dates but I know that’s not true based on the fact that some 3/28 have been processed and still some 3/24 are waiting. So I guess it really depends on the caseworker and how fast or slow they are moving their caseloads. I asked again via message and I will post the answer once I have it. When I have called to ask questions these people treat you like they aren’t allowed to give you feed back on your case.

I'm just talking about the approval dates that people are sharing of theirs on here, not about my date. I'll freak out when someone shares their approval that was an old site April date, i.e. not freaking out yet about that new site 4/2 that was just posted.

Maybe I hit the wrong link to respond too. Someone posted something and I thought responded to, so I apologize.

Just wanted to be nice and share, lol.

March 28th is close enough to April, so you guys will likely see approvals within the next few weeks.

Close but for people who look at timelines or run the NOA1 timeline graph, a few days makes a big deal...or follow other people’s timelines to gauge where everything is.

Congrats you got your NOA2 anyway

Again, I just wanted to be nice and share.
Plus, you cannot take this website (the available data here) as hard evidence but rather anecdotal evidence since a lot of data is missing/unavailable.

Going back to minding my own business now.

Thanks.

Hope y'all have a good day.

I'm glad you did, and congrats! Yours is the farthest along even on the new site dates so it's great for us with later April NOA1 dates either way! I'm just doing anything I can to hold back on too much excitement too soon hehe.

Yeah no worries! I just realized now it was your original post about the old site NOA1s that was shared here, so your reply makes way more sense now! 😀

I don’t think an actual NOA date is anecdotal....but thanks for sharing and good luck at the interview

This was a march thread and I had answered it with a detailed explanation on what the dates are.

U can go by that or u can take the time to actually look at ur I-797c and it clearly shows u 2 different dates

1. Received date, located near the top/center area. Which for u should read March 27, 2018

2. Notice date, located right side of page at the top. Which for u should be March 30, 2018

Dont quote dates as they were for the person who originally asked the question

hope this clears up any confusion.

uscis uses the "notice" date if and when u need to contact them for any information.

https://www.house.gov/representatives US Congressmen

https://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm US Senators

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1
