There was a separate form to fill out when submitting the I-129F called the

G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance

Thats the only way they will notify you electronically. You can go to the new website and put that in as a request as well.

I’m only asserting an educated guess; not exact information. Maybe someone smarter than me would know for sure

Yes, I remember submitting with my paperwork! I’m thinking that’s probably correct. Thanks for the reminder.

It's (hit) or miss with the G-1145. After getting notified and receiving your NOA2 send an email to NVC asking for them to email both you and your fiancé if any updates occur. In the past they have replied when your case was received from USCIS, another when your case number has been assigned and when your case is being sent out to your Embassy without you having to make any further queries by phone. Here is where you send this information to:

Email address: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Subject: Your receipt #

Body: Petitioner's Complete Name Birthday ; Beneficiary's Complete Name Birthday

Or use the online form

Yay! We are getting closer! I’m a silent reader of this thread! Cross fingers guys!

And so may I ask, who will get notified by the noa2? The petitioner or beneficiary (me)? And by what an email? Snail mail?

Coz we don’t have much background, we just Do it ourselves. :) thanks

I would imagine whoever listed the email address or cell phone on the G-1145 E-Notication form will get notified.

Also you can sign up on the new USCIS website for email notifications there as well.

However I just read and commented on a post for a March filers who did all that and got their notification via snail mail.

Good question, I wanted to know the same thing!

Until your case leaves NVC for your Embassy then all correspondence is sent to the petitioner. Once your case is at your Embassy all notifications are sent to the beneficiary. See my post just above about email notification.

The closer it gets the more worried I get that maybe I didn't put enough into the packet...

Maybe the two of you would like to get an early start on what happens and what is needed in The Philippines for the interview at USEM.

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get done. To smooth that trail for you I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.

I don't know if it's always that way, but if you look at the print NOA1, there's a Received Date that matches the old site date for me and a Notice Date that matches the new site date for me.

Oh ok lol, I noticed that mine changed too, but I didn’t understand the logic. Someone that I spoke with the other day about their NOA2 said that they followed the old site date on the forms. So, I was just curious if anyone might know what that was about.

When I registered in old site which is egov.uscis they wrote as I understand received date and accepted date I think that's why difference because in old site in column "last updated date" means accepted date but in a new site they don't mention about received date only when they accepted actually )) just my opinion
