I'm an April filer too, I think our NOA1 was April 2nd. I'll be checking these forums a lot more frequently now we are getting closer to the projected NOA2 date. I have to say, it's a bit disheartening looking at the current processing times post-NOA2. I was hoping I might get to move out there in January but that's looking potentially over-ambitious with the NVC processing times and the wait for interviews etc! :o

Oh well - here's hoping the process goes as smoothly as possible for us all.

Just for a bit of heartening info is that from the HarveySollano statistics, (http://harveysollano.com/USCIS/uscisScanSummary.aspx) it seems that the NOA2 times are shortening.  Eg 185d for applications made in March vs over 200 days for applications made in early Feb.

But again from that site, Feb had 3500 applications vs 4000 in March and April, so maybe I should just stop there ...... :)

I am currently assuming 2 months post NOA2, based on some Ireland stats I saw, but maybe I am being over-ambitious.  Been living from a suitcase in 8 different places since I made my application in April!! and at least one more to go.

first met late 2016, met 13 more times since. Filed i-129 Apr 14th. NOA2 dated Oct 11th.

OMG this is so exciting and nerve wrecking at the same time! So much to do from now onwards. I took so much work on my plate just to keep my mind off of the waiting but now I feel like I need a whole separate time planning all of this out. Good luck everyone!!

Just copying this info from the March group:

Quote

On the other hand, i spoke with Tier 2. Finally. Got couple updates. The Rep was extremely nice, though felt like in a hurry so i didn't want to hold him up too long.
He said my case is in CSC and was assigned to the officer (?) and is being processed. He said he can't estimate how long exactly it will take, but from his experience he said no longer than two weeks, though he's obliged to tell 45 days, since it's still within normal processing window.
Then he proceeded to explain that CSC at the moment is extremely backed up and they are doing their best to catch up. On top of that he said that March is one of the most piled up months from past 12months so it might take some time. Although he said that they are currently processing end of February, some people from march will start getting decisions, as some officers are appointed to catch up and do the more recent ones, hence the recent approvals. So overall, he said i'm alright, and he see's no RFE or anything on his end just the word "Processing/Pending", which he explained could mean that the Officer is currently working, OR he has the box with all the applications in his office and mine is just waiting to be processed by officer.

So far as of today there are 262 February filers that have updated their timeline as NOA2 received

As of today for March filers there are just 70 NOA2 that we know of

having looked at last months for Jan etc I’d say we are 2 to 3 weeks away still

from seeing any April NOA2s yet

Yeah I've been monitoring March too (every morning I refresh our case status, check the Monthly filers and our "expected NOA2" hahah) and it seems like they're stalling. FX it's just a lack of reports.

Also one question. When we filed our I-129F, I (beneficiary) put down only 2 addresses in the "previous addresses" section, because those were the spaces given. But they didn't cover 5 years worth of addresses.
Do you think we'll get an RFE?

There is that possibility. RFE's are simple to respond to but they do delay your case as it has to travel to you, you reply with your answer and then it gets adjudicated about 2 weeks after receipt. These are normal processing times and your mileage may vary.

Yay! We are getting closer! I’m a silent reader of this thread! Cross fingers guys!

And so may I ask, who will get notified by the noa2? The petitioner or beneficiary (me)? And by what an email? Snail mail?

Coz we don’t have much background, we just Do it ourselves. :) thanks

I would imagine whoever listed the email address or cell phone on the G-1145 E-Notication form will get notified.

Also you can sign up on the new USCIS website for email notifications there as well.

However I just read and commented on a post for a March filers who did all that and got their notification via snail mail.

There was a separate form to fill out when submitting the I-129F called the

G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance

Thats the only way they will notify you electronically. You can go to the new website and put that in as a request as well.

I’m only asserting an educated guess; not exact information. Maybe someone smarter than me would know for sure
