On a totally disheartening topic .interview appointments  are about 8 weeks after case complete at NVC in the UK currently, they are so backed up..:o

Canada is pretty backed up too.... some good news might be, I know I've read some of the pros on here say that March/April are slower months for petitions so maybe by our time, interview dates won't be quite as far out. Here's to hoping!!!

Are you sure you aren't listening to my call to my fiancé? I just said to him the number of people filing seems to have been dropping over the last 6 months .with march and especially April dropping right down on visa applications. Our total applications on here is lower than some still left unapproved from previous months :o

Here is to hoping indeed!!

Late 2016: Met playing Clash of Kings the West

Feb 2017: Started online "dating"

December 2017: Seminole OKC home visit and Amanda  met Chayne's kids and dad.

January 2018:  York England visit Chayne met Amanda's son.

April 2018: London/Paris/York visit we got engaged on April 6th!!

Haha - we are all one brain here in the April filers! I noticed those numbers too and thought I was going nuts! I wonder if it is because people don't want to do winter weddings....

Maybe, we also thought that maybe all the publicity about the President's immigration/migration policies and reducing approval percentages may have put some off applying. Who knows.

Personally I'm not worried which month we get married apart from avoiding May if possible as our son's will be doing university final exams all month.

Yeah, the immigration policies, or at least the spotlight they're getting, probably have a lot to do with it too. And same here on wedding timing. We're just doing courthouse. Hopefully we can throw some kind of reception in like 2020 after we recover from going broke on this whole process!! 😁

Im a silent looker at March filers looks like they are on stuck....I've seen less approval on their thread.... OMG...

Long journey for everyone, and I’m sure it’s logical, reasons. Maybe people are not reporting their progress well. I was talking to a person that told me they never received anything electronically, only by mail, not even an update on uscis until after they were approved. I also realize that the dates on uscis old -vs- new uscis and my  receipt doesn’t match the new site. So let’s cross our fingers and stay positive that people haven’t just had time to update.

Yeah I've been monitoring March too (every morning I refresh our case status, check the Monthly filers and our "expected NOA2" hahah) and it seems like they're stalling. FX it's just a lack of reports.

Also one question. When we filed our I-129F, I (beneficiary) put down only 2 addresses in the "previous addresses" section, because those were the spaces given. But they didn't cover 5 years worth of addresses.
Do you think we'll get an RFE?

I'm an April filer too, I think our NOA1 was April 2nd. I'll be checking these forums a lot more frequently now we are getting closer to the projected NOA2 date. I have to say, it's a bit disheartening looking at the current processing times post-NOA2. I was hoping I might get to move out there in January but that's looking potentially over-ambitious with the NVC processing times and the wait for interviews etc! :o

Oh well - here's hoping the process goes as smoothly as possible for us all.

You might... Though I can't say I've seen that reasoning for RFE ever pop up on here. Extra space was provided on the last pages for any info you were unable to fit on the main form, and then it was suggested to include supplemental typed up pages of info if needed beyond the extra space they provided. I submitted an extra page for addresses since ours went way over the space as well.

Luckily that'll be a very simple fix if you do get an RFE.
