I think mine went ahead and did it. I had to have for being a healthcare worker so I didnt even think about it. He went ahead and got all the ones he didnt have as a kid. His insurance covers them. Better safe than sorry since they are free for him

Thought I had all my vaccinations done but worried I might not have Now after meghank said some take more than one shot, none of mine did. Does anyone have an accurate list of which ones we need?

For my fiance's age group (19-49) he only needs 4. MMR, Tdap, the chicken pox vac, and the flu shot.... Because he could get them all for cheap he went to get them at a travel clinic vs.  trying to hunt down medical records. He also has never had chicken pox so he needed that - that was one of the ones that needed 2 doses and the other was the Tdap.

Here is a list broken down by age. It's from the doc in Surrey, BC, Canada but I think it applies the same to everyone. https://www.drgulzarcheema.com/index-3.html

If you click on the link in my post above you'll see the UK US embassy says we don't need TdAP unless a child and we cant get the chicken pox vaccine here, if we can prove we've had chicken pox all good but if no then it'll cost us when we get to the US before filing for AOS. .Thankfully I had chicken pox at 17.

Hi Amanda. Just a bit of an update. Chicken pox vaccine is available in the U.K. at Superdrug Travel. Couldn’t get it from my own doctor but could in the High Street.

How ironic 😂

Just to clarify, where does it say you don't need Tdap? I read it as showing you do.

Oh wow that's funny but useful for other Brits who haven't had chicken pox, thanks.

Sent the list of vaccines to my fiance last night, haha she was not happy!  Looks like she can't find any of her records.  Thinking it may be best for us to call/get an appt for her with one of the approved Drs to see what she may actually need?  Think that's the best approach?

Ok cool! I thought it might have had to do with the ACIP schedule thing because I have no clue what that is 🙃 So yeah - you're good, no double doses of anything for ya! 😀

@MeghanK was right and verified on the UK/US embassy site, for age group  (19-49)  MMR, Tdap, Chicken pox and Flu (if in flu season).

Since we are on the topic here is a really comprehensive list straight from the CDC site with lots of details on each vaccine, including "special populations" so you can check if there is anything unique to your situation. It's not specifically spelled out for immigration but I assume it all overlaps in the eyes of the U.S. Gov :)
