Thanks!  Nice to hear from you as well.  We are doing well, just waiting and waiting.  We are making plans to visit in December and March regardless of what happens.  There is enough stress in waiting for this without adding that being the next time we see each other. Of course I'm hopeful that by March or April things will be complete, but who knows.  There's just too much unknown in this.  I've been a silent stalker of these pages, but for the most part I stay away and stay busy because it seemed so far away.  But now I enjoy seeing when a new month get's processed and seeing they are one month closer to our group.  Once we start seeing March getting busy, it will be very exciting.  Of course, my NOA date actually wound up being the first of May, so I'll likely see everyone here approved before we are.  But I really truly enjoy seeing and reading about people being approved.  This site is so good to keep your spirits up if you focus on the positive.  Take care and good luck!

Hey! My NOA date is May 1 too! But I like being part of the Aprilette family and feeling better that April filers will get notices before May ones hehehe. My fiance is planning to visit in December in Christmas holidays so that is something to look forward to! We're thinking of a mid April POE since I have read things in other threads that if your NOA2 expires before POE then they can deny entry on POE and I don't want that happening. Also the 6 month validity of visa begins from date of medical not the date on which the visa is stamped.

My fiance is going for his vaccinations today! Since we've kind of run out of things to work on in the process during this long waiting period, I've never been more excited to put another check in the box and make copies of documents 😂

How's everyone else doing? Any fun updates on progress, preparations, or just general fun relationship stuff?!

Hi @MeghanK

I'm so excited I'm going to see my fiancé 4 days!!! Shame its only for a week.

when I get back im going to up my game getting things ready for when NOA2 hits and start clearing out my home.

On with driving lessons here so I can get my full licence and then it'll be easier to switch it when I get there.

I do keep having nightmares about being denied my visa though possibly cos we are heading toward RFE territory now.

I recently had a dream that we got an RFE, but somehow we both laughed about it, so it was DEFINITELY a dream lol. I hope we all are RFE free!

Also so exciting about your visit, yay!

I might be late on this but I would caution against getting your medical so early

1) Some embassies only accept some medicals up until 6 months old, etc. Check with your embassy
2) Once you enter the US, your AOS package is based on how old your medical is. If medical is more than 1 year old from the time you did it, you MUST do a new one to file with AOS (think $$ costs)
With USCIS still in Jan/Feb approvals, it might be too early for this medical now, particularly if you get delayed in getting your NOA2, NVC, Embassy backlog, AP after interview, etc. You get the idea

Not medical.... vaccinations. He got his needed vaccinations at a local travel clinic for cheap as opposed to paying for them actually at the medical when we are able to schedule that after packet 3. Particularly done now, because he needed two vacs that required 6 weeks in between doses. Thanks for looking out though!

If you go to your timeline (if you're on a PC, there's a link below your picture on your posts) at the bottom of the grid, there's a line for "Processing Estimates/Stats :".

Note that date is not at all official; it's based on what people who fill in their timelines here report; people have been approved before their VJ estimated approval date range and long, long after. However, it's probably the best estimate you can get.
