Filed I129-F on April 5th to Texas Center, they transferred to California. Received NOA1 on April 11th, have not heard anything since, that normal?

Yep, you won't hear anything until you either get your NOA2 or RFE.  It's roughly about 6 months or so.  It's all a waiting game we're in.

Hey I wondered how you are!!

I do know that feeling and will feel it again soon I fly in 12 days. I’m so glad you got 3 weeks together that’s amazing.

it absolutely gets harder and harder. This wait is killer.

Pop in more often!

Thanks!  Nice to hear from you as well.  We are doing well, just waiting and waiting.  We are making plans to visit in December and March regardless of what happens.  There is enough stress in waiting for this without adding that being the next time we see each other. Of course I'm hopeful that by March or April things will be complete, but who knows.  There's just too much unknown in this.  I've been a silent stalker of these pages, but for the most part I stay away and stay busy because it seemed so far away.  But now I enjoy seeing when a new month get's processed and seeing they are one month closer to our group.  Once we start seeing March getting busy, it will be very exciting.  Of course, my NOA date actually wound up being the first of May, so I'll likely see everyone here approved before we are.  But I really truly enjoy seeing and reading about people being approved.  This site is so good to keep your spirits up if you focus on the positive.  Take care and good luck!

I don’t think I’ll be moving before April at best if interview hits Feb when I expect. That’s if I can get my work notice down to a month max and IF I’m approved

I soooo know how you feel. Our Noa1 date is 25th April so I’ll be one of the last here too and I have very realistic expectations on when I can get there. Expecting April-June currently. We have visits next week, October and two weeks over Christmas/new year planned because we know once interview hits I can’t visit. My fiancé is likely to visit between interview and me getting there if approved.

i can’t wait til they start March but I’ve noticed they seem to get about halfway through a month then start the next.

it is a great place here to lift your spirits and lord knows I’ve needed mine liftings one times. The wait is killer.

glad you are doing well.

Hey all,

We are planning around an early april wedding date, do you guys think thats a feasible time? Our timeline has us receiving noa2 around october 24th-27th.

cheers!

It’s currently taking about 4 weeks to get to NVC and then you have the time to get to omyour embassy, when you can schedule a medical and interview, when you get to the US possible 4 weeks to get your SSN early April is possible but I would say make sure anything you pay for is refundable

Rule Number 1: Don't make any CONCRETE plans until you have VOH (Visa on Hand)
Immigration does not care if you have a wedding or a funeral. They will do what they want, when they want it.

If you asked this question earlier in the year, I'll say technically, a year should be more than okay from application to wedding
BUT we don't know the future. Timelines keep extending and there's so many things changing.

My suggestion to you is to wait until you have at least NOA2 and see how quickly your embassy is moving before you even start any plans.

oh, yeah don't worry at this point we werent going to consider booking anything for a good while yet, just thought in our boredom of waiting we could line up a few ducks in a row to knock down when things start moving!

We don't bite in the May thread

and it's been more active lately ...

Me, I'm just barely in May (Received May 25/Notice May 31), so I suspect at least a few June people will get approved we are.
