You and me both!!!

Hi guys! Have you noticed how the estimated time keeps increasing every week because CSC is stuck on Nov 17, 2017. This is so so depressing. I think by the time we get the visa it's going to be late Feb or March. I'm so disappointed that I'm thinking of joining grad school this Fall to keep busy. I wanted to celebrate my birthday in January with him. :(

Hi. April filer here. How do you guys check to see which date(s) USCIS is currently adjudicating and the processing times? Someone sent a link earlier for Nov filers as reference, but I'm not sure if this provides what I'm looking for, plus I don't want to read through countless messages to get an idea.

Anyone care to assist? Thanks.

Officially is this the website: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Put in I-129F California service center. That is the official USCIS answer.

But keeping an eye on the databases we know they have already started touching December (slowly). That is why they referred you to the November and December topics cause we are the running months at this time.

If you fill out your VJ timeline it will give you an estimate of when your case will be adjudicated based on the average VJ timelines.

Hi Guys!

Sorry for taking a while, I am trying to closeup my accounts and taxes as I will be leaving Japan in a week (can't believe finally!!!)

I need scanners to come up because I accidentally deleted most of my messages!! Some could have been from volunteers from February to April.

Please PM me if you have been around for a while and understand what these are and how things work. Please know that even though it starts as a fun thing, it is highly time consuming and stressful.

As the new system came out, old system does not really update much. I estimated by comparing USCIS official reports for quarter 1 that we saw 30% of approvals as silent, and recently with the implementation of the new system (new website) it looks like this number is decreasing.

Scans (and case tracker app) are using the old site for reference, therefore the number of cases in the places that we can see, can no longer be considered for a good reference point.

However, the dates are more important than the number of cases we see that has movement in order to guesstimate how far they go, and when the next month can start.

Please use these two websites to check your personal cases:

Old website, same info as apps: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

New website need to log in: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov

There are also cases that are totally silent and never get any update, and/or gets updated really late; it is advised to register for USPS informed delivery if your area is covered.

USPS INFORMED DELIVERY https://informeddelivery.usps.com/box/pages/intro/start.action

Monthly Status:

Explanation:

Excluded: Rejected and withdrawn cases (I just put here for reference - does not matter to you as long as you have your wac number and noa1 receipt)

Virgin: Never been touched (case status never changed from "case was received")

Touched : Any update (Such as RFE, name update, birthdate update etc..)

Approved: (IF YOU ARE SEEING AN APPROVAL ON A MONTH THAT WAS NOT SUPPOSE TO START YET, IT IS HIGHLY LIKELY AN EXPEDITE. I did check... it is... if you want to dream please do so but I just don't want to see anyone get disappointed.)

I am putting from June 2017, because there are still members waiting. However Those Virgin numbers are lower that they seem.

Hey Team. I've just come across this site and it is ideal, I will be following closely. We got notification that our i129F was received and forwarded to the CSC on the 6th of April. I am a UK citizen living in London, with my fiance in San Diego Ca. What is a rough estimate for when we will know when I can move over there? If that's an impossible question to answer, when should I expect to be progressed to the next stage of the application? I am trying to be optimistic but it's not the easiest thing in the world.

Please create a visa journey timeline from your profile. This will give you an estimation on when your petition may be adjudicated.

Good Luck!

They just started doing December cases, and mainly doing November cases right now.

It takes approximately 5 to 7 months for approval of petitions. and some cases can take even longer (There are members waiting who filed in June 2017 and other months following)

Hello everyone,

I am kind of concerned that the new website shows my petition as I130 Petition from Alien relative rather than I129F for Fiance. The Old site however shows I129F. Should I be worried and give them a call to fix the bug? Did anyone of you checked it on new website ? Any info is much appreciated..
