The medical scares me because I smoked for over 20 years, asthmatic lungs slowly recovering but please no medical in chest infection season!! Historic anxiety issues we are talking way way decades back and a two week depressive episode 😂😂😂

add in the dodgy knee and a chiari malformation (google it 🤯) that hasn’t met diagnostic criteria since 2013 and is symptomless now and I have enough reason to be a little nervous!!

we are nervous too. History of depression with self harm scars. He's not there anymore and actually a better person i think because of what he went through...but we are still a bit scared this will be an issue at interview.

Oh and still no NOA1. :(

Oh and still no NOA1. :(

I had issues before age 20 I’m 42 now but from what I’ve read here we should both be okay as long as our Doctors state we aren’t a danger to ourselves or anyone else anymore.  Be sure to make sure they put that in the report.

I am a long way past the person I used to be and I’m sure your fiancé is too.

Still? When did you submit?

Oh and @pretendthisisfun @VegasJohn

Delta paid for my June visit after I changed at Atlanta in December the day it snowed cue 27.5 hr delay then to make it worse on the way home Atlanta had a total power out, they transferred me to a united flight, didn’t transfer the money, I got delayed 49.5 hrs and my case which made it to the United flight didn’t make it back to Oklahoma until after I left. It’s still there.

needless to say when they offered me $150 compensation initially I took it further.

I’m a pedestrian so I have to do 3.5 hour trains if I use Heathrow and spend the night in the airport before flying usually if I go from there. Manchester is easier but costs more quite often.

Shortest time it takes to get to him 20 hours. Longest without delays 27.

@AmandaandChayne wow

Good morning my Aprilettes!!

I hope u all have a good day!

I want to share this ...one of my daily task now is finding jobs! Obviously I'm not applying, but i'm making a list with Skills that i see is required in almost every job's post in my field!

As per that list.. now i have to get like 3 more international certifications(That will help me with my waiting game! and not go crazy and also have better chances to get a job quickly after EAD(Employment Authorization)).... web pages like indeed, Glassdoor post a lot of opportunities...

So if u have found a way for make this waiting game less painful and u think can give creative ideas to any of us, Please Share it!

Kisses my  AprilBros Virtual Family

Absolutely correct @Kyle&Ana in the waiting game my thought exactly, i just enrolled 2days ago for an international certification in my field. The waiting game isn’t funny I must say but I know it will be worth it.

Nothing wrong with being spoiled occasionally. :P To be fair I threatened Delta with losing customers over our combined flights.

Once I get to OKC its an hour drive to Seminole.

Atlanta, Chicago or Dallas are my usual change airports. Atlanta quickest, Chicago most horrid customs and Dallas is a dream usually. Not so concerned about my June visit ( not been there since December, Chayne's done two visits here) but my August visit changing at Chicago has me a little twitchy,  pushing the 2 month tolerance of customs when travelling on an ESTA. hopefully the 4 hours layover built in should be enough if they decide to stick me in a back room for further questions!!

Needless to say, I'll be over prepared to try and head that scenario off.

I'm not above threatening when I need to - so it was a very pleasant surprise to actually be given something nice, for free and without asking! :)

I'm sure you and many others here are like me -- becoming experts at finding the best possible airfare and being creative with travel times and ways to try to spend time with your future spouse!  I have alerts on a few different travel sites, and have racked up frequent flyer miles, haha.

That's what we're doing too! Pretty much every other weekend I've spent time organizing all of the chats, and any trip photos or receipts and making new pages in our ongoing relationship packet. Who would have thought something could make scanning receipts and shuffling through endless chat transcripts actually fun! Google Drive is a godsend for this.

Also, love your idea about researching jobs and job needs Ana!
