Hello April 2018 K1 filers .. 2019 AOS :) ..How are you??!.. I have been very busy lately and didn't update things out ..

So the AOS interview was on 11/26/2019 ..  The interview took like 20 mins .. The officer was very serious and asked a lot of questions from the I-845  .. Then he said everything is good on your case ,  I am approving your green card, you will get it next week .. 5 mins after we left the interview room , the status changed to " card have been mailed "  then  Dec 2nd 2019 ( I see tracking number through usps to be received on the 4th  .. however we received on the 3rd ..)

EAD /AP … case was approved on Sep/20/2019 however there was major delay to receive the card !!  didn't receive it till Nov 15/2019 . I remember received just 10 days before the AOS interview !

How is everybody doing ? did your guys have a better luck ?

Hey @AmandaandChayne!!!

Been a long time since we chatted! We joined this site about the same time. So glad to hear that you were approved for your GC! We're still awaiting ours at this point but we did receive the EAD/AP Combo card about 2 months ago. We're probably about another 2 months out for our GC interview. Dallas is one of the busier Field Offices so it takes a bit to get an interview. No issues though! The Mrs. is able to work and has all of her US documents. Next step, GC!

Hey guys.

i had my AOS interview last week and it went very well. They were unable to approve though, as they said I need to do the medical. The reason for this is that when undertaking my medical in London, I did not get the vaccines required in the medical, and chose to get them once in the USA. The medical was on January 14th (so within a year), and to my knowledge I have had all of my vaccines, including 1 since coming to the States. Do I need to do the whole AOS medical? I’ve already paid the huge fee in London, so I’d like to avoid doing the same here in USA. I also can’t find any record of undertaking the medical in London, beyond my invite email. Does anyone know where I can get confirmation that I undertook the medical? I also ask this because it has all the vaccines I have had in one place, making collating them much easier.

appreciate any and all help!

Jack

if you don't have the record you have to do it all over again , wonder if the clinic in UK can e.mal a copy of the blood test , Urine test , STDs and TB test results with the Surgeon signature .. that might save you couple hundred dollars other than that , make sure to go for reputable clinic in you area familiar with the process to get your medical packet straight and speedy .. good luck .

You should have a vaccine check sheet that they gave at the medical. But no we didn’t get a record of the medical from London, that was in the envelope we gave at POE.

You should have been given a DS-3025 attesting to the medical and any vaccines that were admitistered. If not all were given BUT you have the DS-3025 then make an appointment with a Civil Surgeion (google) in your area and call around for pricing as each is different. You don't need a complete physical just the completion of the I-693 where the CS will transpose your VAC from the DS-3025. If you do not have the DS-3025 then you will have to complete the entire medical over with a CS near you in order to satisfy the AOS Interviewer.

Hi Guys

Hope you're all doing well. 90 days before my 2 year green card was to expire, we mailed our paperwork. We know it got to USCIS because Fedex confirmed, but we never received a receipt number. The 90 days ends March 12 (as does my green card), so i'm starting to get a bit nervous.

What does everyone recommend?

Thanks
