I'm waiting for electronic NOA 1 impatiently here. (It's only me who's impatient, my fiance is super patient LOL). Hopefully we'll hear from USCIS soon this week.

We mailed our package on 23rd and it said delivered at P.O Box on 25th.... still waiting for text/email notification of NOA1. Am really expectant

Hope you and everyone else waiting gets their NOA1s soon!! Can’t imagine it will be much longer!! They received ours on 20th and we got e-notification on 25th.

Great!! this thread isn’t just for updates it’s a place to make friends with each other, support each other, laugh and maybe even cry with each other, share knowledge with each other and advice and hopefully we will all make it to approval as painlessly as possible!!

I just wanna get my NOA1 notice so I can hurry up and wait.  So who all is planning a visit during the wait?  Anyone concerned about customs if your fiancé is visiting the states?  I’ve read it depends on the agent but most have no problem.  My fiancé is hoping to come in October for her first visit.  I’m planning on going there in June and December.  The goal is to not go over 90 days without seeing each other, but it will be difficult and costly.  But so worth it. We decided that is more important than an expensive ring or extravagant wedding.  

 

What anout the rest of you?  How often are you able to visit, how much is the process affecting your visits, and what is the one thing about your partner that makes them special to you and worth all this?

Hey all. Just an update. After waiting impatiently we received our electronic NOA 1 this evening and it says we will get the hard copy within 7-10 days.

Awww..... @tirzajogja told ya I think we on same timeline. Just few minutes after I posted here and slept off,  I woke to again only to see a text from my fiancé of the e-notification. Am so happy now waiting the hard copy......lol

Yay! I'm so happy for you too! Hopefully we'll still in the April timeline otherwise we can be a hybrids between April and May. We'll see what the hardcopy says😊

Im visiting Chayne in June and August for our birthdays armed with a letter of employment and my work diary  and a copy of our NOA1. Not so nervous about June as it was December I was there last but I change at Chicago in August and they were tricky twice before we got engaged.

weve had 6 week to 10 days visits since May last year so far limited only by leave his work schedule (he’s an ER surgeon) and not peeing customs off with 4 more planned to the end of this year. 70 days kills me so we try not to go longer.

 

there isn’t just one thing that makes him special. He’s everything to me. We fit!!

Work issues and financial we probably will only meet when I go to spend a 10 day or so vacation after the process is done and travel to America together. We also fit.. and we spend a lot if calls and texts because the country he lives and works (U.A.E.) has a block on Internet free calls even skype,messenger, and whatsap.
