You could try call USCIS for a copy. NOA2 is not needed for anything so you could be wasting your time.

My fiancé and I used that link when we requested for a hard copy of our NOA1. It was free.

I just wanted to come way back here since this is where our Journey started to give an update about my Wife's AOS Interview today.

So for Columbus, OH.

Our Interview was today at 1400. We parked along E Broad St at a parking meter. Walked to the USCIS building and went through their security check point. They didn't care that we had our phones and when I asked about what the policy for cell phones were they said we could have them in the waiting area  and not in the back.We didn't get called up till about 1410. A woman, asked that Xuyen follow her and they took all our Documents.  Yes, Columbus, OH separates you. They seem to do the Applicant first and then the Spouse second.

The Documents we took were based off the Letter we received and we also took everything from our K1 Visa Interview as well. According to my Wife, they went over the tons of questions on the application and then just a few basic questions and then she told then that I barely remember anything and I only know her birthday and then the USCIS Agent has stated she was done at this time and wanted to talk with me next but my Wife said she wouldn't have that and told her NO NO NO cause she didn't get to show her the pictures of our Cat named Tara yet... After the way my Wife described it I think she may have bullied all of our pictures onto the Lady and even tried to make her keep one of our cat. 😂🤣🤦‍♂️

When they were finished the Lady and my Wife finally came back and they were back there for probably 20 minutes. We left my Wife in the waiting room and while we were walking back to her office she was explaining to me how my Wife had done good and that she will be getting her 2yr Residency Card first and then when she reapplies she will get the next card after that. When we got to her Office, she said my Wife complained about the documents being too heavy for her to carry so she left it for me and then she laughed and I was like uhh sounds like her. haha. She asked me

  1. How we met each other,
  2. When I first visited,
  3. If we had any fur babies.. (This triggered that their conversation must have went smooth lol)

Afterwards, with her being Retired Military and myself being a Veteran we mainly just talked and shared stories of our time enlisted.

Overall, my Wife passed.

So yeah, Columbus, OH will split you up for the interview so just be prepared for a split up just in case.

Hi all. I have my adjustment of status interview on December 5th, which is very exciting! However, I still haven’t had approval on my work permit, the last update I had was on May 9th that they had received and reviewed my fingerprints and they would get back to me. I also have yet to have my travel document approved. The last notice saying they had sent me a receipt notice. Why is it taking so long? What can I do to speed it along? I spoke to customer service who said it is 10 days until it has been 7 1/2 months and I can officially complain, but thought I’d check in with visajourney fam.

There is nothing you can do to speed it up. I am sure they are backlog as we saw more manpower thrown at the backlog of K-1 visa approvals recently and a lot of those have been filing AOS just like you. Once your your time is up then I would log a complaint that it is out of normal processing. Good luck.

It's not uncommon to get your green card before USCIS gets around to processing EAD/AP (if that happens, they'll cancel the EAD/AP application as soon as the GC is approved or denied).

However, it wouldn't be shocking if your EAD/AP gets approved (and arrives) between now and your interview; that's lots of people got their combo card after their interview was scheduled (including my wife).

I wouldn't worry about it to be honest.

My wife had her Green Card interview just last week and we have not heard or seen anything about her EAD or AP yet but she passed her Green Card Interview and is receving her Green Card tomorrow by end of day ( according to the tracking # ).

1 couple I know got their EAD and AP right before his Wife's interview while another couple were approved for their EAD (didnt apply for AP) and got their Green Card before her EAD came in the mail.

Puede intentar llamar al USCIS para obtener una copia. NOA2 no es necesario para nada, por lo que podría estar perdiendo el tiempo.
