Hey April lovelies well Im still here on day 62post interview, my finace's senator's office sent a congressional inquiry in on our behalf  yesterday we asked them to  ask them to prove they could locate our file and then check the file for annotations to prove they are waiting for something and its not an error on the CEAC tracker or the computer.

Hoping for something other than a canned response back or indeed visa issued before we get the response.

At this point  anything remotely postiive would be better than nothing.

🤞🤞 Keep us posted!

Now you can finally relax a bit. Hope it switching to Issued lifted a lot of stress off your shoulders. Was only a matter of time. Once you get your visa, have a safe flight to the State you are traveling to.

Now the last nervous wait for the visa as a lot of uk packets have been arriving with big tears in which you have to get an embassy appointment to repackage.

As long as I can fly within the next 2.5 weeks our April 20 wedding date will be safe!!

Did you get any response via the senator? Or do you think the inquiry alone triggered the case movement?

Yes senator sent in a congressional inquiry asking them to a) locate the file and b)review it to see if any annotaions preventing issuance of my visa and not just a mistake on computer or ceac, response received yesterday saying visa in final processing and changed to issued today.
