APRIL 2018 I-129F FILERS

I am getting ready for our K-1 Interview and putting all of the documents together, including the I-134.

I have a 401K..... Would the amount of my 401K be shown as Market Value of My Stocks and Bonds or doesn't it count for this question?

Also, she has two children, but only one of them wants to come to the USA at this point. He was mentioned on the initial I-129F, but I did not prepare a DS-160 for him, only for her daughter and my fiancée. Should I still show her son on the I-134? He may want to come at a later date (6 months, year, years) and I realize we will have to apply for him to come.

Thank you!

It's always best to read the instructions as they sometimes can give you the answer or they can give you a tip as to what they are looking for.

Also, she has two children, but only one of them wants to come to the USA at this point. If he is on the I-129f, and not coming, then nothing has to be done at this time for him. when and if he wants to come later then you will have to have someone help him through the paperwork maze which is the same that mom has done. A grandparent or aunt/uncle can help him through the interview if you or your wife can't make it. If he is not coming he is not to be added onto the I-134 unless he is receiving money from you for his "room and board" which would make him a dependent only etc.

I hope everyone is doing great, those that have not finished, please have faith and keep the love strong. We're getting ready for the wedding and waiting on her mom's interview. It'll be a civil at the recorders office and out to dinner for 50 of us after that.

Thank you Visajourney for all your help.

Special thanks and drinks on me if we're ever near to greenbaum.

Senior Sanchez Congratulations. I'm proud that you are finally going to have the wedding. And such a big dinner. I'll take you up on those drinks if we ever meet up. Say, let us know if your MIL was able to get the visa.

Long time no speak Aprilettes!! To those already married congrats and to those about to congrats and to those of us still waiting I’m still here.

working day 12/total days 19 and stuck in immigrant administrative processing with no clue why additional checks may be happening

no 221g, a 4 question simple interview, “congratulations should be able to approve ...” passport kept.

only thing I can think is I had two name changes one at 15 to stepfathers surname and one a few years after divorce going back to my birth name.

either way being stuck on immigrant status this long is worrying and depressing.

So I’m still here!!!

Congratulations glad you almost done. I did not expect you guys waiting that long, I though that applications from the UK  would go faster than any other. Anyway congrats just a few more days and you guys will be done.

Hi all, still around,

This time I want to share my experience at POE today, february 2. It might be helpful if planning to pick DFW as your POE.

My POE was Dallas Fort Worth. Our Flight arrived at 04:55 but we were  not allowed off the plane since the CBP staff won't start until 05:00. On the first contact with the CBP he opened the yellow envelope, took my fingerprints scanned my passport and asked me to follow him to another room. Once in the room he handed my documents over to other CBP who revised all the documents, In this room I stayed for about 10 min. until I was called and asked if we have a date set for the wedding, I said sometime in march, not specific date yet, that was the only questioned asked. He stamped my passport and wrote down a date, as it is been done when entering with a tourism visa.  Bear in mind that our flight arrived at 04:45 not a busy time, this was my first time at DFW, I did  not know how big the airport was, so I believe that during rush hours It might take longer.

All the best people. If still waiting, hope you get a response soon.
