Hello @Pbchief2

I hope you and your fiancee are both well.

I'm schedule to attend the CFO-GCP on Monday the 7th and I haven't done my USEM interview yet.

I'd like to know how did they give you the sticker since you weren't given a certificate? I mean, do they list or keep track of your case/name?

Thanks for your answer!

Ooops sorry, I think I was able to find the answer on your previous post.

Thanks!

When you attend the CFO before you have your USEM interview they will place the sticker in your passport. When you attend and don't have your passport they will issue a certificate whereupon when you have your passport with visa you return to CFO and have your sticker placed within your passport by means of presenting your certificate. You can do this at any CFO location including NAIA (with special instructions).

It would help you if you were in the sub-forum for the Philippines where there are experts to help. Last link below.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Hi @Greenbaum

Thank you so much for answering! It eased my worries.

I still have my passport with me and it's nice to know that I won't make 2 trips to CFO.

Thanks again! You are always a big help!

Iraq is going to be a very difficult Embassy to which to process from. Your answer will come eventually but I would not be raising my blood pressure prematurely without allowing for adequate time. I see 8-12 months. As hard as may seem you need to focus on your relationship and your day to day responsibilities and in no time you'll have an answer.

If you select your flag in your profile on the left column and then select "Iraq visa timelines" you will have a chart appear. Scroll down a bit and you will see the chart. Here it is for the first page but you are free to look at other pages for historical data on process times for others who have gone before you.

Ok thank you! Trying not to raise my blood pressure! Do you think my fiance being a resident of Jordan and the fact that we are using the embassy there would make it a little better? Just wondering

I’m a little nervous this morning over the words “should be able to approve” I won’t be totally settled til I know my visa is on its  way.

At some point soon my life is either going to be ecstatically happy or totally devastated beyond belief no wonder I feel strangely vulnerable just glad it’s 98% in favour of ecstatically happy!!! 😂😂😂

Watch the ceac.state.gov for your status. Once it changes from "immigrant" to "non-immigrant" then it's just a few days before they release your passport with visa inside.
