I advised @Pbchief2 NOT to buy tickets till they have the visa in hand and that they have had time to make sure everything is correct. I advocate that to you and everyone else to do before buying tickets. We have seen errors in the visa which need to be corrected and flights have been scheduled and they were about to miss their flight or they had to change their tickets costing them $$$$$$.

TRUE, TRUE

Well my fellow April filers it has been a long journey. We finally received our NOA2 this morning via text message. The old site is updated but the new site is not. I'm sure a lot of you have moved on to other threads for your respective NOA2 and NVC cases. Just wanted to share the new. If I'm the last of the April filers, please let me know. I'll make sure to lock up everything and turn off the lights!

My timeline is in my sig.

I'm still here waiting, don't turn the lights off just yet! 😛 I'm at 238 days with no RFE or any news at all! But I'm trying to stay positive!

AN UNEXPECTED OH WOW...

So I called the NVC tonight to see if they could give me the date on when they received my fiances k1 and he said he could not. The reason, once a case number has been issued they can no longer see the received date and that our case number was actually issued yesterday. So he gave me our case number.

I did ask about shipments and explained I was aware that they mail them off every two weeks or something like that and that since the next shipments is around Christmas if he knew of or could enlighten me about possible next shipments. He says they still plan on doing shipments but will be closed for Christmas. That was basically what he told me so I can assume they will still most likely do shipments Christmas Week.

NOA2: 11/21

NVC Receive: I put 12/10 but that is not accurate. AskNVC email response was on 12/10 and confirmed they received it but the last AskNVC email response was on 11/30 so between 12/10 they received our case.

Case # Issued: 12/13

As I just realized what thread I posted this under... I will leave it there as I would like to show you guys how fast things are moving once you get your NOA2. The long wait is over so once your get your NOA2 be prepared to wait again but only in a sense that things happen more quickly. ;)
