Yes of course there will be others who have had the same experience as you. I suggest if you have a question we are standing by to help. RFE's most times then not turn out to be something trivial like a checked box missed or some other matter they need to complete the adjudication of your file.

I am wondering if USCIS says it is still being worked on, but a notice has not been sent out, how soon I should expect to receive it. I am really at a loss of what it could be. I sent in tons of evidence, but yes, could be a small mistake.

@Greenbaum

Here we remain attentive to an early approval !!!

Just have to give it some more times. It's just a reminder that they know you are in their system with your file and they are working on getting you adjudicated. Right now just wait.

Here on VJ they have created a spreadsheet where couples have added their RFE information and it makes for a good primer while you are waiting for your RFE. It will show what others have received for RFE's and how they corrected their error.

Hmm I wonder if I should try and inquire about my RFE while I am visiting my Fiance. I will be here for about a month so it will be nice to know if we can get some news about an Approval or a Denial before I leave. Told her that if we happen to get a Denial before I leave then we can just go get Married before I depart back to the States.

First off, I doubt you will get a denial unless your a terrorist then I for one would want you denied. :D Just relax and enjoy your time together and not get on that phone and be calling. It's a waste of time. When it's your time, it's your time. Simple. :thumbs: Of course I'm telling the stress free option but if you are like the others here who are "oh I gotta call" crowd then it's a free country. Just my opinion.

Hahaha nah. I am a very patient person. Probably more curious since the others have posted about calling and getting possible answers. Although, my phone does not work in Vietnam. VJ has it listed that it could take an additional 30 days I think anyway since it is at the CA Center.  I just want to be able to show her that I at least came on here asked. ;)

:rofl: You'll make a good husband. :thumbs: Vietnam is one place I'd love to visit but not for short period but 2-3 months. It just looks interesting ohhh but the traffic would drive me nuts. At least they drive somewhat in a straight line. In the Philippines they are all over the place. Oy Vey. Have a safe trip.

Hahaha yeah and I dont even know how to ride a motorbike either so I just sit behind her. She keeps telling me to try it out and I am just like I don't wanna die... We are having an Engagement party this weekend or next weekend I think. I told her to make sure someone takes photos of everything and she said that an Aunt of hers already advised her of that so looks like I will be able to document that event as well. Just sucks that my home state is cold as hell and between there and here I got stuck with a cough so everyone thinks that I am sick. It will be a good fun month. Although, not sure I would actually want to do 2 to 3 months because I like driving my car that she wants to steal from me and I would not trust driving it here. Not to mention the speeds are so slow that my lead foot would be crying out of sadness due to not being able to go high speed. lol

Have a good one and thanks for all the advice you post on here for all of us.

Hi. Just want to chime in about the engagement party as a word of caution. I'm sure you know, but just wanted to give a friendly remind that some people are denied because their engagement party looks too much like a wedding even though it may not be. Not saying don't have it..just saying be careful, because I would hate for you to lose all the work you've done thus far.

I'll let @Greenbaum expand more if he would like to chime in. Just sharing what I've seen around the forums.

Thanks for looking out but no worries. I plan on submitted an affidavit as well with only certain pictures thay we only had an Engagement party and that we will be getting Married in the USA once she arrives.

I try to be thorough.
