What do you mean "not concerned". I'm not concerned either, but I would like to get s*** going. I've been waiting forever. I mean, at some point I would like to be with my fiance than being stuck here alone!

Why do you need a letter from the NVC? Just curious. You can continue on without a letter from the NVC.

I understand we all want this process to be fast. I hate it for all of us.

Because that's the next step. I've received the NOA2 and now I'm waiting on the letter from the NVC. So I know it's moving and not standing still. Then I can get my medical and all the other things I have to get done for the interview!

yeahhh life is really on hold.... and i can really feel it now! but in some embassy u dont need the NVC letter... for example in my country with appoiment letter and case number is good! but not all USEM are like that! BTW u can send them an email to too !

NVC CONTACT INFORMATION:

Website: www.immigrantvisas.state.gov

E-mail: NVCInquiry@state.gov I highly recommend you email NVC for the case #, even if you call and get it, this will give you a correspondence from NVC with the case # for future reference.  The email request for your XX # is also a great way to track when your file is forwarded to USEM as NVC will not reply to the email until that time.

REQUIRED SECURITY INFORMATION:

You are required to provide the following security information with each inquiry to receive a case-specific response:

* NVC Case Number or USCIS Receipt Number (Place in the subject line of the e-mail).

* Petitioner's name and date of birth.

* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth.

--- Use this site to check when your file ships from NVC to your Embassy:  State Dept. visa tracking: https://ceac.state.g...ker/Status.aspx?

As posted below. You can contact them directly that way you can get your case number. By looking at your timeline we have the same NOA2 date. So they probably already have assigned you a case number. You can call them and get that information if you'd like.

The first couple of pages has some great information and might even have some example documents your embassy will send you.

Not sure if I am missing something, once we receive a case number, do we do anything besides complete the I-134 form? And from the sounds of the step by step guide here, https://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide/ , we mail our Fiance, the beneficiary in my case, all of these documents correct? I just want to make sure we aren't overthinking things. When are we supposed to fill out the DS 160 form? Or is that a long way away? I think I might be confusing it with the DS 260 form.. Thanks everyone and best of luck to you all moving forward!
