Oh and some optimism for you Aprilette family, members filing has been dropping in numbers each month since August last year with us the lowest by far so if our site is typical hoping that means they might start to catch up on the processing in the next few months.

Hopefully they'll work faster lol. I learn that the petition's all luck and depends at the person who handle your petition.

 

It is a good idea to plan things like you did. I like to plan our wedding, talking about it with my fiance and his mom to make time goes faster😅

Late 2016: Met playing Clash of Kings the West

Feb 2017: Started online "dating"

May 2017: Met in Orlando

July 2017: Arkansas and Seminole (1 night) visit

October 2017: Washington DC visit.

December 2017: Seminole OKC home visit and Amanda  met Chayne's kids and dad.

January 2018:  York England visit Chayne met Amanda's son.

April 2018: London/Paris/York visit we got engaged on April 6th!!

April 19th 2018: packet sent

April 23rd 2018: USPS say packet signed for.

April 25th 2018: Electronic NOA1 received 

April 26th 2018: Cheque Cashed

Good Day April Filers!

 

Our packet was mailed via FedEx on April 20th. It was received on the 23rd. Received electronic notification of NOA1 on the 27th. Looks like it's about a 5 day turnaround time for NOA1 filing with the Lewisville, TX office. Now we wait for the NOA2 notification. I'm hoping it'll be around October or November at the latest.

@SteVas if you create and keep your timeline updated it’ll keep you informed of expected NOA2 approval timescales.

 

ours is currently 25th to 29th October with an electronic NOA1 date of 25th April 😊

Im English! Work on the railway in risk management (this is like the biggest most risky project ever in relation to delays!!) and spend my life living on two time zones working around my doctor fiancé to get as much time on video chat as we can!! Thank goodness for line app!!

Hi family, I’ve had an attitude adjustment after reading June 2017 filers thread.

 

RFEs are not bad, delay is not all bad, frustrating and draining and painful yes but not all bad.

 

Refusal/denial etc is heartbreaking.

 

my heart goes out to @johnandrose I don’t know you, but after reading your story my heart breaks for you. If you refile this month we will be here for you!

Hi April filer fam I am Nina American and my love is Jhony he is Colombian but living in panama. We are not patient we hate this wait and are not going to be glad of it ever! We do it because their is no other choice. We will also be filing k2 for my future son to come too. Noa1 April 20. At Cali with everyone else! Going back to see my baby in August so our kids can meet in person and my daughter can meet him in person. While we wait thank goodness for facetime and what’s app. Getting things ready as we can for interview stage. His birth certificate and Colombia police clearance we will wait until August or sept for the rest. We have a place picked out for our very tiny wedding.😍 and some hopeful dates in mind. Glad to have you all on this journey with us good luck buena suerte a todos.🤗☘️😁👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️💕

Hi Nina!!

Glad to meet you and good luck to you and Jhony!! I think we will likely get married at the justice of the peace due to time constraints and the liklehood if we get NOA2 in October/November our wedding date could clash with my 22 year old son's final unviersity exams, that and its a second marriage for us both.

I hear you, I am far from patient and hate being apart from my love and the wait is torture but as you said we do it because there is no choice.

 

We are doing all we can ahead of time to avoid delays onvce NOA2 hits.
