We haven't called them but were approved on the same date. My fiance received text message and then we check on the old site and it said our case was approved.🎉

NOA 1 (old website) : April 25, 2018

NOA 2 (old website) : Nov 6, 2018

 

New website still shows that our case was received. We are waiting for the letter now. For those who are still waiting, be more patient! Your approvals are coming this week!!

 

Does anyone know if there is a thread for those who get the NOA 2 in November 2018? I know they have October 2018 NOA2-->NVC

I called this Morning and I asked when the uscis approved case will be sent to the NVC, tier1 said it will take 90 days !! I am like excuse me the NOA2 approval just for 4 months if it takes 90 days , there will not be enough time to get the visa ! she started stumbling and asking her Co-worker what should I tell him, how long it should take ! I asked her to transfer me for Tier 2 , Tier 2 said it have been sent yesterday ! wait few days and they will receive , we will get you your fiancé here soon ,lol .. and I asked him why non of the USICS website updated the approval NOA2 yet , approval was Oct 23 on the letter , received October 29 , he said I don't know who processed your case but they really don't have time to do that , the important is you  have the hard copy in hand . wonder if it have been sent from California to the NVC yesterday , how long it will take to be received and processed ? @Greenbaum  @AmandaandChayne

The average is about 2 weeks but right now everything is in hyper mode because of the big holiday push. Just a little bit more patience.

We have the same NOA2 and receipt of NOA2 dates and no site updates. I hope ours has been sent too.

Late 2016: Met playing Clash of Kings the West

Feb 2017: Started online "dating"

May 2017: Met in Orlando

July 2017: Arkansas and Seminole (1 night) visit

October 2017: Washington DC visit.

December 2017: Seminole OKC home visit and Amanda  met Chayne's kids and dad.

January 2018:  York England visit Chayne met Amanda's son.

April 2018: London/Paris/York visit we got engaged on April 6th!!

April 19th 2018: packet sent

April 23rd 2018: USPS say packet signed for.

April 25th 2018: Electronic NOA1 received 

April 26th 2018: Cheque Cashed

April 30th 2018: hard copy NOA1 received

June 2018: Seminole visit, Amanda met Chayne's  adult son

Just a FYI it took them a month to process  At NVC the entire time they were telling us it wasn’t received and in their system and just at the month mark when I called they told us that it was forwarded to the US Embassy in Ghana.  So, I contacted tier two as well and they told me the same thing. I hope that helps.

Happy to report we were APPROVED 😄 😃this morning!

 

Here is our timeline:

 

  • Apr 01 - NOA1
  • Oct 25 - RFE (proof of 2 year meeting and intent to marry from beneficiary)
  • Nov 01 - RFE received at USCIS 
  • Nov 07 - APPROVED!!!!!!
