Oh do not have doubts, I already started making a list today lol and tomorrow I am going to ask for my police clearance. Really, cannot wait to go with him to our home in month and a bit ( he plans to come with me to the interview). Oh and to break the news: we will be having a baby, expecting it in April!

No huge red flags in our case, only one might be age difference but we had 5 visits and met each other while working for the same company. He visited me in my country three times and met my family each time, I visited him once in the US and once we went together to his home country UK so that I could meet his family as well. I have a stupid smile stuck on my face, so happy nobody can see me 😊

hehehe Wonderful! Everything it will be perfect and congrats for the baby is coming follow this thread now that you got your approval:

No need to worry about the age difference if you now have NOA2.

just need to worry about proving have a genuine relationship at interview.  Depending on when your interview will be, that will be up to you to disclose you are pregnant or not depending if your tummy is obvious showing. Then they might want some type of proof your fiancé was present at time of conception and may need show his passport stamps and have doctors or hospital papers showing you have been to see the baby doctor with expetant dates so some type of math can be done. I wouldn’t worry about that one too much either but should do your homework about that one.

Based on the experiences of those already, they actually might want that.  But my goodness, there is a point when evidence requests become too intrusive and assumptions have to be sufficient.

first met late 2016, met 13 more times since. Filed i-129 Apr 14th. NOA2 dated Oct 11th.

Congratulations. You may want to participate in a new thread located here:

We discuss a lot of information and next steps. The thread is FRESH but settle in just the same.  I'd send you to Oct but most of the people their are now leaving as their cases are in route to their Embassies.

Thank you for your advice! I have filed in for my police clearance today and should get it on Friday, by the way.

Oh and we did think that the embassy might want some kind of proof that he is the father, but so far we only thought of him writting a letter stating that he is and signing it. Now, what you said about doctor’s notice of due delivery date makes sense, so I will ask my doctor to write it for me, and since Rob was here middle of July we will just copy his passport stamps and that should hopefully be enough. Maybe we can also print out messages from his mam and sister where they mention our baby. I will have a huge list to do, guys! I am on a pregnancy leave (with full salary oh la la-thank you family friendly laws that we have here!) and all I can do is eat, sleep, worry about visa and think of things to prepare.

We appreciate this forum so much, again thank you for sharing a piece of advice✌️

Me too :(  I am starting to feel like this group has all moved on except for us

There are still 137 timelines from April filers that haven't been updated with a NOA2 date. Probably more than half of them at this point are people who won't ever do this (either because they stopped visiting VJ or they withdrew their petition or it was denied), but going by history there are still a lot of April filer timelines out there who will eventually be approved, and a non-trivial number of March. Before that, though, it's just a handful of couples.

Thanks! I have been very excited all day long, so happy we are finally one step closer. Worrying about NO2 is now over I guess, so soon I will have to start worrying about what might go wrong at the interview  😩

Start your preparation now. Here are some items for you to be aware of.  I don't have the P3 instructions for your Embassy. If and when you get a copy if you could share with me then I would be able to share with others who come behind you.  Here are a few things that I did find the can be used as a primer.

From the Serbia Embassy's website: Interviews are by appointment only! You will receive an appointment when you have submitted your notice of readiness confirming that you have all the required paperwork in your possession. Embassy Belgrade will notify you of your interview date and time and paying the MRV application fee by an appointment letter.

Required Documentation

You, the foreign-citizen fiancé(e), (and eligible children applying for K-2 visas) will be required to bring the following forms and documents to the visa interview:

  • Completed Form DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application. You (and any eligible children applying for K-2 visas) must: (1) complete Form DS-160 and (2) print the DS-160 confirmation page to bring to your interview.
  • A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S. (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions).
  • Divorce or death certificate(s) of any previous spouse(s) for both you and the U.S. citizen sponsor
  • Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)
  • Medical examination (vaccinations are optional, see below)
  • Evidence of financial support (Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, may be requested)
  • Two (2) 2x2 photographs. See the required photo format explained in Photograph Requirements
  • Evidence of relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e)
  • Payment of fees, as explained below

Note: The consular officer may ask for additional information, such as photographs and other proof that the relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) is genuine. Documents in foreign languages, other than the language of the country in which the application takes place, should be translated. Applicants should take to the visa interview clear, legible photocopies of civil documents and translations, such as birth and divorce certificates. Original documents and translations will be returned.

Hey guys. I just checked your timelines and we all have the same NOA 1 date. April 25. Probably our cases are being handled by the same adjudicator. VJ estimation said that our case may be adjudicated Oct 31 until Nov 7 though. I need to buy more stocks of patience lol.

Hope we will hear from them soon this week!
