We just found out we were approved on October 23!!!

The notice was mailed to my attorney, both sites were not updated.

I would help if I could but you left off an important piece of information from your profile. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. Received an RFE today via USPS. Neither one of the Websites were updated. It seems like an easy fix, Intent to Marry letter from beneficiary and proof of two year meeting.

Seeing a lot of other cases around my time approved. congrads for all. hope mines comes also but it is really stressful waiting.

I sent only one letter of intent to marry and the copy of airplane tickets.

My RFE was mailed out on Friday. Just got notifications that my RFE was received. Here is to hope I get another response back before I leave to visit her.

 

Good to see a lot of responses today and hope there will be more tomorrow.

Hi So when I updated the NOA2 information on the timeline today , I couldn't find the Country Embassy ( or even the country listed at all ) that's why I left it blank cause its not in the list of the countries embassies on Visa journey website .. its US Embassy-Baghdad  -IRAQ …. US Embassy- Baghdad - Iraq

Complete your country in your profile first then complete the timeline. Many here from Iraq who have been successful in completing this. If you run into problems let me know and I'll try and walk you through it.

I just checked our case tracker app and it said our application has been approved today! Old site is also updated but nothing on the new one. 

NOA1 on old website was 25.4. and new site 30.4.

Rob was sleeping when I called him and woke him up, all giggling uncontrollably. We were loosing our minds waiting, even though Rob was dealing with it better than I did (he didnt have any crying outbreaks, mild nervous breakdowns etc.).

You guys who are still waiting know that you will get it too!

You will need to produce two letters of intent to marry, one from the petitioner and the other from the beneficiary. Then make copies of everything from your treip to meet the beneficiary to include plane tickets, hotel receipts, receipts from entertainment venues and include about 12 photos of the two of you together with her family and venues that you visited while you were there. Make copies of everything you are returning and send via USPS with tracking or one of the other carriers of your choice but with tracking. Also, sign the RFE anywhere at the bottom. That should answer the RFE. Good luck.

 

And to answer your question that you haven't asked yet but I know you will it will take about 2-3 weeks before they adjudicated your case BUT we have seen longer so your mileage may very.
