I hope so. My fiance called to uscis today and the girl said some letters take more time than others. Keep checking the mail and wait.  It's so weird because the NOA1 arrieved 5 days or so and the RFE letter is taking toooo long. We hope get it this week at least.... I hope you get your approval soon. Did you send the RFE reply by fast delivery?

Yes I did but doubting if I did the right thing by not adding to it. Only sending what they asked for. This process makes you second guess yourself

No doubt but we pretend to do the same: to send exactly what they are asking for. No less, no more. You will be fine.

I did the same pretty much. I misunderstood question 54 it seems like I posted a couple days ago. I thought it meant met her as in face to face so I wrote about when I first met her in person. I never mentioned how I met my fiance. Although, I also had #55 checked because I did not meet her through an IMB site either but I just never specified how. 

 

Luckily my Attorney said it is free to deal with my rfe and he can help me with it and I only pay shipping costs.

Others do get an rfe for it. Others don’t. It really depends upon the adjudicating officer. Just because others were being rfe’d doesnt mean you’ll be getting too. Relax.. Take a deep breath.. you’ll be fine..😌😌😌

You better take your time answering this RFE. Do some research and see how others have answered these situations. You only have one more shot at this and if you get it wrong you face DENIAL. Don't take this lightly.

 

Why are not photos of us together and a photo of us in Boracay showing the date behind us not be hard copy of evidence?   I also sent photocopies of all the places we went, like Puerto Princesa and Underground River.  I sent like 12 photos of us together at the different places in the Philippines.  Not sure what is hard copy evidence if physical photos is not evidence.  So hopefully you can answer me Greenbaum since my photos and photocopies are not hard evidence.  Please tell me what I can send that is better hard evidence than photos of us being together.

I have not received it yet, but I felt that might have been the reason why I got the RFE.  I'm heading to the Philippines tomorrow to spend another 23 days with her and her daughter.  I was hoping I would get it before I left but don't see that happening.  so I have a letter written up all the specific dates of how we met, when, where, where all we went, how many days we spent together and I will reinclude the same photos and maybe more photos of us together and my itinerary for my trip tomorrow and our plans for this trip.  So if that does turn out to be the reason for the RFE.  I will have it ready for my family to send it right away, but if it's something else, I will figure it out while I'm in the Philippines and I will share my RFE once they receive and send me a photo of the RFE.

Wait to see what the RFE says but if you met your fiancé via Cherry Blossoms, and that is the reason, just print it the Terms of Use and send all the pages. Notate that it is a free to join website and does not conduct criminal background checks and therefore is not an IMBRA...should be pretty simple if that is it....don’t over think it.

I'm really hoping that is all the issue.  I just wasn't descriptive enough and I can't believe I wrote something that simple.  I've been through this process before without issues but before, I used a lawyer.  I will get that printed to send, just in case that is all it is.  Thank you so much người nước ngoài   and your compassion is also VERY GREATLY appreciated!

Yah absolutely welcome. I met my fiancé via Vietnam Cupid and in my I-129 I check marked the box to include additional info and on last page wrote a short description that VietnamCupid is not an IMBRA and submitted all pages of their terms of use and there was no problem. Best of wishes to you and hope is an easy fix for you 👍🏽

Well i guess they(your family) can’t do that for you. Most of the RFE’s will be needing your signature. And since you don’t know what it is yet, don’t freak out..  For sometimes it’s just a missing box. Wait first for the hardcopy to arrive to figure out your missing documents. But let’s pressume evidence of meeting in 2 years is your rfe.. you can send the copy of all the pages of your pssport, itinerary of travel, boarding passes, hotel receipts and few pictures of you together,with friends and family. Having said, this will already suffice your 2year meeting requirement.
